So, I swore on map chat last night, and I’m banned for 3 days. 3 days is way too long for just swearing on a game aimed at young adults and older. In fact, you shouldn’t even be banned for swearing, as there’s a kitten profanity filter! Here’s my question, why the hell am I banned, for swearing? There’s a kitten profanity filter, if you don’t like people cursing, turn it on!

The game is indeed aimed at young adults and adults, so ur expected to act as such ..swearing ingame..specialy as an insult.. is not mature..ur unlikely to do it face to face with ppl (ur liable to get ur face kicked in in some areas if u do) so dont do it online just becouse u have the internet to hide behind.

Lets put it this way ..banned for 3 days ..u gunna start swearing online again ? No ? ..then it worked.. yes ? ..then ur havnt learned.

i’ve seen the N word dropped multiple times in map chat, nothing has happened to some of those people

I feel there’s something missing from this story. If you were directly swearing “at” somebody in a negative manner, then I can understand the ban. If you said something like “crap man, you do some pretty awesome damage” then that would be less ban-worthy imo.

But then again, if swearing is bannable no matter what, then what I mentioned above would probably be ban-worthy.

No, I wasn’t swearing at anyone, and even if I was, 3 days is overkill in my opinion.

What if it was 30 days instead of 3 days? That means someone would learn it better? Maybe it would have been better to have a warning first before a suspension.
