I’ve been crashing to my desktop with a black screen and then having to CTRL+ALT+DEL to task manager and end GW2 (says it’s not responding) and then reboot the game.

My drivers are up-to-date, application settings, deleted my .dat file and then downloaded the recent patch, tried what ANET considered up top in the sticky, AVG is fine, tried multiple and multiple of solutions and nothing. My PC can run BF3, ARMA2, and FarCry3 (second most played games) on full settings with no problem for hours. GW2 is the only game I run into this issue with. Gets annoying when I’m playing tPvP with a team.

I crash anywhere from 20 minutes in to 3 hours in. Random crash.

Have you tried playing across the three different window options – specifically, fullscreen, windowed fullscreen, and windowed?

What options do you have enabled? Is your game’s refresh rate matching that of your monitor’s?

Try right clicking the luncher and run it as admin. It worked for a guildie of mine

Yep, same thing.

Yes, refresh rate is matching my monitor (75Hz). I don’t have the game maxed perhaps but most things are at high and AA is off completely, same with post processing.
