Building a PC for WvW
With an i5 3570k and a gtx 670 you should be ok. GW2 is overly CPU dependent and, as such likes raw CPU clocks. Try to get a good aftermarket cooler for your CPU and overclock, you will get much better frames in zergs.

You would still have to have texture culling on low (not very low), so people near u would have full textures , but those further of will be green. But u can have character cull on highest so u see every1.
You would also need a OC on the CPU , around 4.5ghz.
FPS would be in the 20’s.

This. Unfortunately GW2 is not very optimized
Pretty bad that people have to overclock their CPU’s to 4.5ghz+ in order to get somewhat respectable frames

I get around 30FPS in big zergs with a i5 2500k @ 4.4 also a 670 is not needed at all.

What settings are you running at? I play other games than this so the 670 is useful.
Every thing is high except reflections=none, shadows=low, RS= native, WVW CL and CQ= medium

Even when is not needed for gw2 the 670 it is a good idea for a new rig, most likelly u will play other games aswell LOL, specially if u plan to run the same video card for 4-5 years. I would get the radeon 7970 tho, if u plan to run a single card the radeon is considerably faster, overclocked can be as fast as 2 gtx580 in SLI which is FAST. If u plan to go dual cards (future upgrade) then the 670 makes a bit more sense, due better drivers, cuda, physx, adaptive Vsync, and other cool Nvidia features..
