Can't Login : 42:0:9001:3927
error message 42:0:9001:3927
Same here. Maintenance?
And it’s now fixed…
I can’t either. Gates of Madness.
I have a friend who’s logged in atm, though. So it must just be log-ins having problems.
I got the same problem, but I cannot find any reports of scheduled maintenance. I have not changed my firewall or router settings since I last played, so I’m hoping it’s a server side issue.
Same here. These connection issues are getting old really fast… I also get the 58.xxxx.xx one too and I’ve port forwarded, did the troubleshooting steps and still have the issue.
Same problem – can’t log in
Yep. Same here. Was able to log in about an hour ago.
I’m getting the same error code. Someone whip the server hamsters!
Yah, I’m getting this now too. Was running up a mountain path back towards Norn starting area and lagged out with this error. Now I’m unable to log in and keep getting this error.
And I post this then it lets me in… shrugs whatever.
Yeah, I tried again (using the /serverport 80 thingy from the other thread with a similar name) and I’m in
Still down for me.
Got this error too. Has been about 10 minutes and still can not log into the game client. First time this has happened to me over the solid week I have been playing this game.
just got in the server

Been 35 minutes for me so far. Happens about every other day, at least from what I have experienced.
I’m sorry to hear you guys are experiencing this issue but I would like for you to try a command in order to resolve this issue. To do this:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Port Test.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include /clientport 80 at the end.
Note: Please make sure /clientport 80 is outside of the quotes
Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” /clientport 80
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe /clientport 80”6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.
If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try step 5 again.
7. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Port Test” and try connecting again.
I had the same issue and used the fix above.
It initially didn’t work until I also changed the short-cut properties to run in admin mode under the advanced tab. Worked immediately after I did that.

Unhelpful, considering at the moment it has to be a server side issue.
Edit: To prove my point, I was just able to login again with NO editing whatsoever of my files.
