"Client lost connection with server"
I’m having this same issue… Its pretty annoying i’m getting
Network error.
Please check your internet connection and try again.
(code=1083:5:7:1848:101)
My internet is connected to the internet since my browser is working and everything else thats connected it also still working fine just gw2 is having this problem for some reason after this update.
This accrues when i log in and after i select a character and start trying to load into the map i’m in it gives me this error so gw2 is still connecting to the internet but for some reason it losses connection when i try to get into the actual game.

I have the same problem as well vashio. At first I was WvWing and capping towers. Next thing I get crashes. Tried using my back-up Local-Dat file. Now I have the “Please check your internet connection and try again.”

Same problem here. Can’t enter the gameworld (desolation) with any character… no problem whatsoever with my connection.
I’ve been having the same problem, since like 2 days ago or so. I even posted a thread about it here but not many seemed to have seen it (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Game-Client-Disconnected-From-Server-Often). It seemed to get better with the first update and then got back to being bad with the one that came after. (Don’t know if there were 2 updates, but today on 2 occasions GW2 client downloaded something).
Hope it gets fixed soon, this is pretty irritating.
Old thread, but as the problem doesn’t have seem to be solved yet, I’ll share my experience:
Yesterday: 2 total game crashes (had to do the ctrl-alt-del thing to get response from pc), 1 connection loss
Today: 8 connection losses in the last 19 minutes, connection to the internet is fine and has been stable for three weeks (wired, no router). Restarted game several times, restarted pc, checked hdd smart, checked firewall. Still no change at all, it keeps throwing connection errors at me. Very nice while almost finishing a personal story step, aye?
Same problem here, for two days I have had constant disconnects. My internet is working fine.
same. started this evening, i get connection lost the server message and kick to character select every 5-10minutes. i can still type in chat but nothing works. During this im still just fine on the internet using browser / teamspeak. I see alot of these posts here and reddit, no official reply from anet yet?
E: i ran that Guild Wars 2 Diag and i had alot of packet losses in there (from 20% raising up to 100%.). I did the same for my IP and i had 0. If i understood correctly this issue is not related to my ISP?

Same here today, after a few seconds of game, a crash, this just started about an hour ago, and is becoming extremely annoying. Internet works just fine…
And again another disconnect… what is the cause of this?!
So, I have been checking the forums and it seems that a lot of people are having the same problem. It seems that it started yesterday and now many players are commenting that the game disconnects them between a couple of minutes of game… for me, I can’t even start the game right now!!! Arggg! frustration!!!! Any updates about this?
Thanks for all the replies, nice that I wasn’t alone with those problems yesterday (even my guildies had them). Error code was 7:11:3:191:101, which scared me a little after searching the forum, but after being away for two hours it worked fine again. Possibly due to maintenance or such things, I’m currently at Gunnar’s Hold (EU) server.
A few days ago I switched ISPs and GW2 is unplayable. Although my old internet was slow, I never DCed and only rarely had spikes. Played today for the first time and GW2 is unplayable. Ive been experiencing everything from small lag spikes to “Server is unable to connect to server” errors.
I’ve been having this issue lately myself. I haven’t changed ISPs and yet suddenly I’m inundated with 3-10 minute lag spikes and rampant disconnects. I’ve cleaned up and repaired everything on my computer I could think of, run the GW Client Repair 4 times and still can’t get a stable connection.
To note, I’ve run Skype and my browser during these disconnects and lag spikes with no noticeable effect on them, so I know that my internet connection isn’t the problem.

getting this Error Code=7:11:3:191:101 everyday, after 1-2h playing the game, I’m disconnected to the menu screen with this error.

It’s absolutely ridiculous. My ISP is fine. I’ve had this issue for over a month now. At this point the game isn’t even playable. I get disconnected constantly, I’m lucky to be able to play for 10 minutes before it throws me back onto the character select screen, oh and the skill lag. It’s nice to see more people complaining about this now, maybe that’ll make it a bit harder to ignore this problem.
Same problem but got it to stop happening by exiting everything that was running in the background or minimized and starts at computer start up. Something in the update is conflicting with some type of software. It’s not AVG, firewalls or virus scanning…but it might be Steam, Citrix or other various programs. Try exiting them all, checking them to not start on startup (type msconfig in start box and uncheck any that you don’t want to start at startup), reboot and see how it goes.
Sometimes overlay programs can cause problems after game updates as well.
Reinstate the programs one at a time until you find the culprit.
Or, just leave everything else off when you play, like I do now.
