Client won't patch after latest patch
Cannot get back in after patch..error code 58
Same… Client will not let me back in after the update at 1am PST, today.
The servers are down right now for an “emergency update”.
Cant get back in either just says log in servers are down
I get the same error
servers are down for maintance, short warning but relax
at least we know we’re not alone
(hug)
The. Servers. Are. Down.
any idea on how long it’ll take?
no one knows how long but usually for gw2 maintance has been 20-60 minutes
It’s quite frustrating. I know that the servers are down, so I went to check the game status thingy in the wiki, and that is also down for maintenance. sigh
Ahh i see, thanks for the info. Hope it gets sorted out
it figures…….

NCSoft always has its website under maintenance every Wednesday morning I believe.
Regaining knowledge of existence on this earth, need back in the game…
sever are back on!

i saw that too found it quite funny, but aggravating at the same time -_-
Same error! Maybe they’re reading another patch. When I got the notice to log out and in again, there was nothing to be downloaded. These forums are a relief lol. Glad to know my game isn’t broken.
They said in game that it would be going down for an emergency update but didn’t provide an ETA on when the servers would be up again.
A server status on the launch client would be extremely useful in these situations as the error messages are less than useful. Needn’t be anything elaborate just a small box, green for online and red for off.
Would save a lot of time in the long term I expect
Unscheduled maintenance and not a tantrum/refund demand/class action lawsuit in sight.
I think it’s the soothing white forum background.
And we’re back.
