Computer reboots on game startup
Run the game with the repair option.
Also: run windows update and update your graphics drivers. Never hurts, and very well may help.
Thank you for your answer, did all of it besides the repair option but unfortunately it didnt change a thing + on top of that I can’t run the repair option … When I add the -repair at the end it tells me that the path “…/gw2.exe-repair” is invalid.

You need a space between .exe and -reapir.
“…/gw2.exe -repair”

Oh thank you. Now I’ve progressed to the point where sometimes I can play, and sometimes My computer freezes and reboots.
You might also want to get a can of air, open up your computer, and blow all the dust out of your fans and heat sinks. Many times a computer will run fine for a long time, then start crashing when you load high demand programs because of the temperature spike and inadequate cooling.
If that doesn’t work, you could also try running programs like prime95 (http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft) or mem test (http://www.memtest.org/ ) to stress your computer and thoroughly test your RAM modules. Prime95 will run your computer at max capacity, and (I think) give you a report if it has to shut down due to a hardware problem. Memtest will run your ram through its paces, and can tell you if you have a bad stick.
The thing that finally did the trick for me was changing one of the files. For all of those with the same problem → go to the folder where your gw2.exe is, find the file local.dat and change it to local.old
