Constant Crash to Desktop
Please post your system specs. It’s also helpful to have a baseline of how your system runs and any crash logs.
Get a screenshot of your system after running gw2 for over 10 minutes (before a crash is desired) from this application I’ll link you to. It shows more than system temps which makes it awesome, and even better, it’s free!

Lastly, find your my documents/guild wars 2 folder, then open your crash log or arenanet.log and export it as a .txt and post that here too… Use the more posting and formatting options below to attach files.
The game crashes consistently no matter what I do, at first it was only after between 10 minutes and an hour of play. Then I reinstalled the game and now the game crashes at loading screen immediately after character selection. Tried deleting local.dat file as was suggested to another player having the same problem, however I’m not sure how to run a repair tool on the client as suggested in the aforementioned suggestion.
About repairing the game…
I know this is for Guild Wars 1, but its the same idea, but better explained on this page than the corresponding Guild Wars 2 page.

-repair is the switch you are looking for.

I have this exact issue too, at first I thought it was EVGA precision and the riva tuner tool, but that only held up for a day. Now the problem is back even worse than before. I have also sent about 100 error messages to Anet now, so hopefully they will find a fix. Could it be the new nVidia beta driver? I mean the driver is not crashing and performance is good.

Hi Myst – While a lot of crash issues sound the same, they don’t always have the same cause. Just looking at the snippet of the crash log you’ve provided these look like CRC errors:
Raw file 0×0001c962:0×0001c962 has CRC 0xa639bedc
That being said, I think it would be best to start with a Disk Check and follow with a repair of the client.
