Since the patch ive been suffering from constant lag spikes every 5 mins or so, in all the maps ive visited.

Lions Arch
PvP match up
WvW borderlands

etc,etc

In all these maps ive asked if anyone else has been experiencing it, and the unanimous replies have been yes all around, and we all experience it at the same time.
Some of my guild have also been experiencing it but not all of us.

Ive checked my connection with other online games and there is no loss in performance at all, rang my ISP BT as well and they said there are no issues at all for my area.

No lag here since last patch, what do you have running in the background try disabling all programs and apps that require the internet. Have installed something new or have anything been updated. Also if you are on wifi try running a cable from your router to your PC see if that fixes it.

on direct cable to my router, nothing but standard OS programs running in the background, its only happening with gw2.

Isp has detected no issues at all, i have very low packet loss, and a stable connection, people in the same maps i enter are also having this problem, im suprised they havent posted about it.
It only seems to be a random few people, like you yourself said some our fine, same with some of my guild mates.

Its frustrating because it keeps occurring every 5 mins, lasts for about 3 seconds then game continues on.

I’ve had lag spikes too in the Iron Marches, no problems on any of my other internet applications only GW2.

I had this last night during WvW, would lag “pause everything for a few seconds” then continue. Today in Iron Marches im having the exact same happen.

Im on EU server (GH).

we had huge lag spikes yesterday in dungeons like ac or cof too, so i think it doesnt care where u are.

It happens even in Fractals !

It is clearly on ANet servers : everyone in the party has the lags at the same time.

Moreover, a lot of disconnect with errors 7: (even more than before).

Bump! Got these aswell. Occuring once or twice every hour. Mostly DC’ing or 3-4sec lag. pl0x fix.

this is still occurring for me, infact its gotten worse. Was in a fractal the game just froze, chat was working fine, had to relog to get the game moving again, effected my entire fractal group.

I have, and also the people I’ve played with in pvp have like 7 or 8 second lag spikes. Really annoying.

Huge lag ONLY since last patch.

I have a 1 Gigabyte Internet connection. I know for sure is not on my side, and only happens in GW2 (specifically in WvW for me, and even on non-zerg fights).

Pls find the problem it is on your side, and it’s so obvious that I wonder how the hell is not fixed yet.

It’s been a few weeks now, and I never had that before since September 2012… It is happening with GW2 only.
