Crashing/Freezing Issue
Your video card is crashing, possibly because it’s an overclocked version or some other hardware problem. Typically though, freezing graphics is the symptom of a failing video card:
- Crash <—*

I would try dropping the clock speed a bit. Another possibility is a failing power supply that isn’t able to provide enough power to the video card.
Hello, thank you for the suggestions. I should have mentioned this is a problem unique to Guild Wars 2. I haven’t had any problems running other games.
I ran a stress test on my GPU using Furmark, with no crashes, freezes or strange happenings. Under-clocking hasn’t helped resolve the issue either.
Any further help, or suggestions would be appreciated :)
same issue here with freezing.

t’s odd.I also had these problems and still have and typed in here about it a couple of times,
but it seems that you just think there is a problem with the user’s computer.
what I do not get is that we written and said that the game worked well long time back in time , but this problem has just popped up and after any of the patch among the latest, apparently with some bugs in the program code.

In this case, yes, there is a problem with the user’s computer as I pointed out. I have an Nvidia graphics card (GTX460) and I have no issues with GW2.
Not at crashes are the same. In order to assist you we need information regarding the problem (such as crash logs).
