Dev’s, Are we ever going to be able to utilize our graphics card in WvW? I did the fix to turn off hardware acceleration(with a youtube video) and that actualy helped, but honestly, why aren’t our graphics cards doing any work for WvW?

Doing a massive siege now and my activity is sitting at 0%

Just asking for anything really, i mean this has been a problem since the very first BWE, yet hardly anything has been said on the issue.

You are seeing low GPU usage because something else in your computer is bottlenecking, most likely your CPU.
Your GPU doesn’t need to work at 100% when your CPU is limiting the FPS to like 10.
My GPU is always at 90%-100% during WvW, or pretty much anywhere.

Ive got an i7 3.8ghz, gtx 560, 8 gigs of ram, windows 7 64 bit. There has been “Thousands” of posts on Guildwars 2 guru with ppl with decent computers having this same problem.

edit: My old computer was a intel core 2 duo, with a Radeon 5750, I get pretty much the same performance on that in WvW, that i do with this one.

Note that im not talking about PVE/SPvP, everything works great when it comes to that(40+fps at all times)

strange. I have a gtx 670 and 4.2 gh i5 and my desktop runs great. It slows down in world v world but always stays in the 30s or high 20s unless theres a hundred people on the screen then it drops to low 20s

This! But we can agree that something is going wrong when you see a lot of players, idk if it is the animation or the physics I’m not an expert.
