Disconnects 7:11:3:189:101 since patch

Yep me 2 – every 5 mins or so
7:11:3:189:101 is the error code.
Never happened before, but I’m in the club as well, errors! errors everywhere!
Oh well, will check another time.
Yes, I did the same event thrice. I think we can just relax a little and try later, they will fix this issue.
Being disconnected every 2-3 mins, I will walk so far, and when I reconnect I have only moved about 10ft. So I will check back tomorrow and see if all is good…
i have this error 3 days … before nothing but last 3 days every Dcs..

What i know for sure – server FarShiverpeaks – Iron marches map – MAP RESETTING after every 1 to 3 minutes max…. just reset 6-7 times… everyone on map seeing it dynamic events reset so its a full map reset and everyone dc… other guildmates in other maps seem fine… some. Note its not a normal dc its a full map RESET
Add me to the list. I don’t think I’ve ever had more than 2 or 3 total disconnects since launch, with this patch I’m getting them from every few minutes to every few seconds.
Edit: On Fort Aspenwood, only happening in Gendarran Fields, so far. Moved to another server before disconnecting again and seems to be stable in Blood Coast.

Everyone in Ferguson’s Crossing seems to be getting disconnected every few minutes. The game is also rolling back as soon as we log back in.

Lets give ANET some help -seems to be happening on diff servers / maps – post the SERVERS and MAPS that are resetting / rolling back.

some others on other threads for blazeridge steppes – dont know server
Post serv – map and if its doing this full reset /rollback
As am I. I was filling out a map and when I reloaded everything was undiscovered again.
keep rolling back, this is annoying!!!!!!!! i killed the Oakheart Tree in Queensdale for the third time now.

I am having the same issue. I have been disconnecting on anything from Anvil Rock WvW to multiple PvE maps(Which include all of the norn up to shaman and dome. I have also disconnected in the dissea plains PRE PATCH from the 28th. I have however had 0 issues with DC in AC.
I have had to do the same Charr mission 4 times (Nissa the necro) and have rolled back on each separate occasion.
Laaamme beans. Just found an epic party for AC Exp, too. :< Hope this gets resolved soon. Now I have to go be productive and stuff

Same here. Just bought the game 2 days ago. 1st day no problems, decided to re-roll didn’t like Guardian, re-rolled a Mesmer and been stuck @ dream sequence for 1 day now, b/c I get d/c every 15secs. Once I get on the bridge before the boss that gets you out of the dream is when I get logged out everytime.
Love the game, just wish I can play it, being stuck @ lvl 1 isn’t so fun lol.
Any word from arenanet on this issue?

Hey guys we’re looking into this issue at the moment. In the meantime could you guys provide some Network Diags for us to check out?
To do this please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 folder.
2. Right-click on “Gw2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Right-click on “Gw2.exe – Shortcut” and select “Rename.”
4. Rename this file to “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic.”
5. Right-click on “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” and select “Properties.”
6. Locate the “Target” line and add the following to the end " -diag"
Your target line should look like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -diag
7. Click OK to save your changes.
8. Open “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” to start the test.
Once completed, please click “View Results” and save the results to a text file on your desktop. Once saved, please attach that to the thread by clicking “More posting & formatting options…”

how will diagnostic help when the progress that is supposed to be saved on the server gets rolled back?
same thing just happened, same error code ( 7:11:3:189:101 )
On the off chance character state changes have anything to do with it, it started a heartbeat after a character leveled in a story instance on leaving the instance. (leaving the home lodge back outside to Hoelbrak)
Had no disconnects prior.
edit: verified – it’s the one specific character mentioned above. no issues logging in on the others. (Snorvald)

Same. DC’s every cuppla mins, and when I re-log, the game has rolled back.
Been getting disconnected for a while myself. Got my log attached as per previous request.

happened 2 times now, Anets way of testing fractals disconnection rejoining lol
I’m having the same issue, but only on one character. Not sure if anyone else has tried logging into other chars, but it seems like Diessa Plateau is kicking me consistently, whereas LA and other areas work fine.
DC every 20 seconds now. Since Patch OMG.
Update only happens on Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer Foothills? Strange

Right after the update, i was doing a run of AC and completed it. upon exiting out my game crashed and popped up with this message, “the game client lost its connection to the server. please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and try again. (code=7:11:3:189:101)”. Now whenever i try and log into the character i was using in AC it keeps popping that message up. This only applies to that one toon, i can log into my other character just fine. Is there a solution so that i can get back to playing?

When you get an error code, that’s almost certainly not an account issue. I’m going to move this to Technical Support, so that you can get the help you need from our TS Team.
EDIT: I added this at the end of the thread, in case anyone was confused by what I said. These are the facts about Error Codes: When you get an error code, it’s usually, but not always, a Technical Support issue. There are codes related to account issues — like Error 45 — but Error 7 is an issue related to connectivity, which is reviewed by our Technical Support Team.

Since the update I get “The game client lost its connection to the server – Error Code=7:11:3:189:101”
when I select only my mesmer strangely enough – Lions Arch.
Though I completed a story quest and gained 2 levels instead of the 1 I originally would have gotten.
Same case as Elintor.1839
