Hi!, I’d had some problems where my computer randomly shutdown like a few months ago, it stopped, but now when I try to run the installer about 5 minutes or 6 minutes in my computer shuts down, the shutdowns resumed the first time I attempted to install it it shutdown at about 21 or 20 percent, I have over 300 gb of space so that shouldn’t be a problem, and I also installed a new version of Java a few days ago. Is it this game or my computer?

And a few hours ago while installing again, it shutdown and said ‘’Scanning and Repairing Drive C:’’

I just finished a scan with HitmanPro no viruses detected.

Shut down again while trying to install.

Try malwarebytes antimalware instead of hitman. Perhaps hardrive got some bad blocks, try Crystal disk info or similar to check its condition.

MBAM found 7 viruses, haven’t tried Crystal Disk

When you system shuts down, is it like power was cut or does windows go into ‘windows is shutting down’?

If the power gets cut, its probably your BIOS protecting from Thermal overload on the CPU. You should run CoreTemp to make sure your CPU isnt getting to hot.
Your BIOS will record those errors, so jump into your BIOS and look for Error Logs and see if any thermal protection events are present.

You may need to replace the CPU fan, remove dust, or install new TIM (Thermal Paste) to fix the issue.

If windows goes into ‘shutting down’, then its a virus, schedule or script, or someone hacked in and is messing with you.

If you get a popup box that says ‘windows will shut down in x seconds’ you can abort that by running ‘shutdown -a’ from cmd/run/search.

Again, virus/Malware would be the cause of that.

It sound like over heating or a bad or underrated power supply when is the last time you had your system case off. If it been a while you could have dust buildup restricting airflow causing your system to overheat if your system has been running hot for a period of time then you may need to reapply heat sink compound on your CPU it might be dried out. Also what it the rating on your power supply it is recommended to have a PSU rated at 600watts or more for any gaming system.

Migth have been one of the New bitcoin mine trojans, those + any other task can easily crash computer.

Actaully it was, 5 Trojan.MSII if you wonder why it was 5, it was because I downloaded the files 5 times.And 1 Trojan.Dropper. So, Yeah! Enjoying game.

Malwarebytes AntiMalware and Microsoft Security Essentials should be viable free alternatives Other quality choices would be NOD32, Kaspersky, G-Data, F-Secure, Avira if you wish for paid.

Just be sure to keep decent software just in case of incidents like this.

Made a quick researh about that Trojan turns out it will steal personal data and its considered as rootkit. If i was you i would go find site wheres PPL who read OTL or HJT logs (ie. Virustorjunta.net IF ur finnish as i would think because of username)
U will find all info to take logs there, rootkits are nasty kitten to deal with and sometimes scanners just cant remove those Alone.
