Guild Wars 2

So I just bought the game, and when installing I get a “Download failed! Please check your internet connection and try again” error. I searched the internet and nothing helps.
I did a GameAdvisor test to clear up stuff.
I use ESET NOD32 v5 antivirus, so no problems there, firewall off.

Anyone knows a fix or a way to get it to work?

Are you using wifi or ethernet? I would suggest you hooking up your computer to a ethernet cord to be safe, I had that safe problem first time on my laptop and after hooking up a ethernet cord it worked just fine.

Did you disable antivirus altogether and try the download? Some antivirus has been known to cause this issue.

I had the same problem, i simply dissabled the firewall for the innitial download and after that was complete i enabled it again.
at this moment he’s installing everything, so i hope that’s all
