I was wondering…

is it possible to have the gameplay on 1 monitor and set the map/character/inventory or other things on a second one?
I was thinking about this for WvW (map in particular)

sorry if english is bad

I’ve never tried it, but you may want to test it. Try starting the game with this option:

-uispanallmonitors

Xyssi – Asura Guardian
Xystus Furtim – Human Theif
Server: Stormbluff Ilse

That won’t work.

In a multi-monitor setup, you have two choices:

- Multi-Monitor: entire game on one screen, something else on another
- Eyefinity/NVIDIA-alternative: entire game across all screens

That UI command above essentially controls how the HUD reacts to triple-screen setups. By-default, the UI will be locked to the primary screen (usually middle). Using that command above will let the UI be stretched across all displays (less-ideal if you want everything to be in center-view).

I don’t believe it’s possible currently to have the game on one screen, and map and other UI elements on the other screen.

Ok thank you guys!

I hope some improvements or addons will make this possible.
I think it could be very useful.

You could always throw an external app that uses the api and mumble hooks on your other monitor:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gw2eventsmap/

It won’t let you use waypoints, but it will show where you are and where events are.

I have no association with the above linked program, I have just found it useful. Maybe there are other similar programs out there?
