I’m having the exact same issue. Your description of the problem fits my situation exactly as well. Seems all is not well in Tyria at the moment. Hope AN gets it resolved soon. Interestingly enough I can log in on all my 80’s that are in Lions Arch but my lv15 warrior who was in transit from LA to hoelbeak when I got DC’ed is still unable to login and gets the same network error over and over.

I’m getting 5:11:3:159:101 as well. So far I’ve found I can’t enter the new content, the Eternal Battlegrounds, and Stonewright’s Steading.
I’ll usually get hit by it again after a mandatory relog, and then after a second one I’ll pop back into Hoelbrak.
And yet for me, waypoints and Asura Gates work fine.
Edit: None of my router settings have changed in the last few hours since it happened, so I know that it isn’t on my end.

5:11:3:159:101 for me after trying to change zones. When I log back in with that character it tries to load the zone I was in then switches to loading the zone I was trying to get to, then dumps out with the network error.

Edit to my post above: Ive managed to test the issue a bit and so far Ive now got 2 toons lost in the blackhole of hoelbrak. Got one of my 80’s on and soon as I took him thru the asura gate from LA into hoelbrak had the 5:11:3:159:101 error and now I can get back on with him at all either. Least he’s not alone in the blackhole – My warrior is there too to keep him company – lol.
Quick Edit: On the one remaining character I am able to log in with I cannot view the trading post at all and no new feed appears on the account login splash screen either. Perhaps it would help AN resolve the issue to know where were all logging in from – may be a network routing issue. I’m in Ontario, Canada.

Having the EXACT same issues this morning. Every time I try to use WayPoints I get the 5:11:3:159:101 error.
I was also getting the 21:6:3:2198 error however I fixed that by removing the “Save Password” option and typing it in myself. I’ve never had that issue before (and been playing since Launch).

Flushed DNS cache, rebooted modem/router, no change. Still have characters stuck in loading screen limbo with 5:11:3:159:101 error.
Logged in with another character in LA, was able to waypoint to Kessex. Tried to walk to Queensdale. Through the gate, now stuck in limbo.

“Any of my characters that are parked in LA I can not log into. The loading screen comes up but the Map Completion data at the bottom of the loading screen never appears and it continues to try to load until it times out and disconnects me. I can log into any character that is parked outside of LA fine, but when I try to zone into LA with them I get the same problem.
I have ran a repair, I have deleted my local.dat file, I have tried guesting to a different server besides my own (TC), I have flushed my DNS, I have changed my DNS, I have sat here trying over and over and over (it’s been about an hour and a half of troubleshooting now), and without fail I can not log into LA, rendering any of my characters who are parked there unplayable.
This is the error I get upon timing out from the LA load every time:
“Network Error. The inability to connect to Guild Wars 2 may be caused by internet routing issues or a server network failure.
If the problem persists, please visit our support website. (Code=5:11:3:159:101)”"

Interesting, I’m also in Ontario. It could just be coincidence, but I’ve had other Canadian friends tell me they’ve had connection issues in the past during the same times I have.
Would you mind if I asked what ISP you’re with? I’m on Rogers.

Perhaps calling them and letting them know were having problems logging in to game servers in general and asking them to review any recent changes theyve made to their network would be a good place to start. Other then that Im outta pertinent info or suggestions for this problem. I fear we may be in for a long wait to get this fixed. Either way AN needs to be made aware of this issue as they may be able to help resolve it or fix it themselves.

i am finding an eeriely similar problem. network connection problem when i zone in into heart of the mists, eternal battlegrounds and sanctun of rall borderlands and the actual forums itself from my pc (on my cellphone atm). i am from ontario with rogers as my isp.

As of 9:30am this morning the problem seems to have fixed itself. Not sure if it was Rogers or AN but either way I’m grateful its resolved.

Same thing. Resolved miraculously in the middle of my otherwise unhelpful communication with a Rogers rep (no troubleshooting, written off as ‘contact your game company’). But it’s fixed!
