GW2 launched to soon and to buggy.
Cant say im sorry to see you leave :I
stop crying about some bugs you cant make a game and expect it to run 100% without any bugs when its still so new,
if that’s what it takes tokitten you off, then good luck finding another game without any bugs at all

Some bugs? LMAO Just look at the necro and try and say some bugs.
Nice troll, but sad fail. I guess in your case Ignorance is bliss.
So many have quit playing. I wish I would of known about the bugs, would of saved me 60 bucks.
Hmm while GW2 does have bugs …but when compared to how some other MMOs I have played at launch …GW2 is perfection No crashes, no BSOD, no lag so bad my toon just stands there for 10min when I press a hotkey……..no 4+ hours just to log on……yada yada.
GW2 crashes all the time. Anytime I dye a item and remove the dye. Sound gets loud and bugs out and have to restart it. Low fps on a system that shouldn’t have a problem. Ton of professions bugs.
I like the game and think it has some good new Ideals and fun stuff in it.
Just saying that they should of did more beta testing, Seems like they rushed it to get it out before MOP wow’s new expansion.
Don’t remove the dye from all pieces of gear. Nuff said. How hard is it to change the colors and overwrite them instead of removing everything.

LMAO. knew someone would come in and say that. sigh Was just pointing out a simple bug. Crashes on more things then that. Still just saying they rushed launch. Don’t mean to hurt anyone feelings. Just pointing out that there are to many bugs. Didn’t pay 60 bucks to be a beta tester.

It’s a minor bug with a very simple workaround….and most people don’t experience it. What more do you want? I’d much rather they focused on the bugs that actually break the game for everyone.
If you want to make a well formed argument about legitimate pain points, it would be one thing, but your post reflects impatience and immaturity.
While I love the game, I agree it should of been beta’d more. Last night I kept getting d/c like every 20 minutes (internet worked fine). I’ve had two bsod this week when I click “play” on launcher. Though it’s not enough to make me regret buying the game, I’ve had more game play then bug issues.
I just hope it becomes more stable.
Sorry Hickeroar.9734 if I made you mad. I’m just getting sic of all the bugs. I don’t see my post as impatient or immaturity. I see your answer as being full of anger. I see my post as a person who bought a product and is getting tired of it not working right. If you don’t think it is buggy try looking in the tech forums. Also try lvling a necro. Sorry if this makes you mad. Try some anger management classes.

I do think the game is a lot of fun. I just got another blue screen and a sound loop lock a while ago. sigh……..
wow…course this game would be buggy…should wait about 6 months for any kind of MMORPG, video game console, touchpad, phone, computer, or any other electronic device before. Within those 6 months will be the first time a very large and various group of users will touch the product so it’ll be buggy, it’s like xbox 360 and the red ring of death, or ps3’s and their systems doin whatever it is they did, or nintendo…and uummm…their virtual boys causing seizures. the game is new and awesome an had a great launch.
I don’t blame you.
But I think you shouldn’t jump into conclusion that it is the game that is buggy.
What people these days don’t realise is that any software needs to talk to the hardware. Apparently, most people thinks that it’s easy and it should work. The problem is that there are hundreds of hardware combination that a user could have. How can you develop a software that is bug-free for all?
Furthermore, other bugs such as BSOD can be caused by software in your computer apart from the game. Not to mention, virus, trojans and all sort of junk software that has been installed before.
I ran GW2 without any problems and had a smooth experience. Fortunately
In another game I’ve played recently, I had BSOD and I was so ready to blame it on the game. But after much trial and error, it boils down to my graphic card drivers. I was using the latest version of the driver, and it always BSOD if I ran something graphic intensive. Not to mention that the card was on the supported list.
So, as a general rule, which may also apply in real life, before you start pointing faults, step back and check that you have sufficient assessed if you did anything wrong.
The mentality of “I paid $60 and it must work”, wont get you far in real life either.

It wasnt lunch too early but yes there has been many issues and bugs but has anyone seen any MMOs released with absolutely no issues? Yeh I tought so, Now stop QQ and wait for the fixes Anet working on and make sure you checked out the kitten changes implemented with today’s patch.
/cheers
I find it weird how some people are playing almost perfectly fine while others are struggling to get on or play with some errors/crashes, makes you wonder if its really Anet or just the chance of dodgey Pc’s or possible virus corrupted files. Mines running fine, i get bugs, sometimes crashes, but still worth every problem, atleast Anet are working on fixes and this is only the 3rd week, people need to relax.
Never had a single technical issue with my game, aside from the login server outage last night, but that was everyone and not a huge deal, stuff happens. Try understanding what causes technical problems, and report game mechanic issues so that they can be fixed if they are valid issues and not just your own stupid opinion on how they should make their game.
Well i have encountered a ton of bugs, and had performance issues but I knew what I was getting into when I got an MMO at launch (never done that before). Its always like this and like somone said this was actually one of the better launches. These kind of games are huge and very hard to test prelaunch so they just fix stuff as it comes out. Especially dynamic events are hard to test without a massive amount of testing and user feedback i would assume.
Also you have millions of people everyone with a different confiugration, and you gotta get a game to work on every single one. Sounds like a hell of a job! Its impossible to test and work out every scenario pre launch.
I stll enjoy the game so much that I don’t mind.
Like all MMOs i would guess in a year this will be whole different game.

Something is wrong with YOUR computer. I would daresay most people run this game smoothly without any hiccups.
– Sure there were some sound bugs with extremely loud sounds.
But if you BSOD when running the game then there’s definitely a leak somewhere. I have not experienced a single BSOD and only two crashes while playing the game. None of the crashes were related to the game but to Yahoo Messenger.
So do a dxdiag on your computer, include the relevant crash logs and send a support ticket with it so that they can look at YOUR problem.
Ranting here about it being too early out of beta does not get you anywhere.
I don’t like to repeat myself, but the majority of the players are likely enjoying this game problem-free, and would not be of the opinion that it needed more beta testing. Secondly don’t come with false presumptions that “many people stopped playing”, where is your sources on that? (As far as I know they are still experiencing about 400,000 concurrent players at peak times. Plus sales already reached 2 million.)
And before you get your fingers sweaty looking for posts to refer me to the “thousands” of threads on this forum complaining about the problem; forget it. There are about a few hundred of you and many of these problems are the same as your (hardware-software, drivers, background apps, corrupted disks) problem.
so. not to beat a dead horse here. but its a brand new game. kitten happens. aside from malchors leap sp. ive run into virtually no problems that make the game nonplayable. so, i as well cant say im sorry to see you leave, enjoy mop.
