Ever since the patch today, I’ve had very bad delay on battles/skills/movements in the game world. I will be fine for a second, but then all my skills will stop activating, and mobs 15 feet ahead of me will be attacking thin air, suddenly I take damage whilst not being able to use any of my skills.

This is extremely game breaking. Is this being looked into?

These kinds of issues happen during high populations sometimes. And since new content came out today, it may be related.

I’m not saying this is acceptable, but a possible correlation.

I will try again later today to see if things are better, but hmm…weird. It may be my ISP but my ping is normal.

hello there, im from argentina recently update my ISP to 20MB(D) 2MB(U) since the last update Cant play , the lag is really horrible…
hope some admins read this thread and fix the problem.

People have been lagging after the Dragon Bash update and the lag is still here.

Just as someone said, once you get it you’re pretty much stuck with it, at least for some months until Anet releases a fix.

Hello !!! I can no play with this lag. Repair please !!!

After the last updates GW2 was impossible to play with lag. Started after the 1st of July (2013), since then it is impossible to play.Maybe that’s why ANet is losing more and more players, it’s sad because the game is wonderful, I live in Brazil and many are with same problem, but it seems that Anet is not much to look at America Latina.

I don’t think they aren’t looking into problems of South and Latin America, they are probably trying to pinpoint the issue, but don’t have any noteworthy updates yet. I mean, it’s possible that this is truly an Internet node issue and maybe they are working to find out why. I know Texas nodes are very high traffic and tend to have a significant amount of latency. But, with latency comes skill lag and fps spikes and skips/jumps/freezes, it’s all truly painful and inconvenient.

Have any of you tried running gameadvisor yet (and posting results)? Or this?

My FPS does not fall far not only boss in the world, but this is normal, and pingplotter gameadvisor already tested and the results were good.
My PC is FX4100, 8GB Ram, 2GB GFX660, W8 64bit, 5Mb broadband connection, all more than enough to play at max. This lag began one week ago, before it was all wonderful.
