My game goes to black screen after the recent patch, I can’t even open the game up =/ it worked perfectly fine before the new patch.

Same here, I can only reopen the game in his folder but the black screen appears over and over again

same here :/ it’s really annoying, I’ve never had any problems with game before :/ does anyone know how to fix it? is there any sollution?

I had the same problem. Everything worked perfectly fine before the update, but after downloading it all I got was a black screen.
All I had to do was to update my graphic card drivers, now it works as it did before. I suggest trying that, worked for me at least.

I have the same problem… have a black screen and see only my characters, and then the game crash

Having same problem too, i`ve noticed loading icon in background of initial screen, similar to one you get going through different zones.

Can enter password, but as soon as i hit play, it all freezes, was fine before the patch to the update

Have updated drivers for vid card…still getting same problem

… I can’t even repair it…..

If you look just where launcher shows online manual in screenie , you can see loading icon i`m getting , i`ve not hit play yet

This is the EXACT same problem I have. I can’t even hit “play” without crashing.

Mine was fine BEFORE the patch to the update, when it updated i launched perfectly ok, it was ONLY after the patch that this started happening, it`s something in the patch because nothing on my pc changed in 2 mins

Same thing here too. I’m reinstalling the whole GW.dat and hoping it works…. probably 30 more minutes to go…

Same issue here. Tried -repair twice and reinstalling the .dat. Both didnt work. The patcher also crashes when I change language.

So i`ve updated to latest ATI drivers, renamed the .dat file, re-installed game, and….yep, still freezes when i hit play , not had a response to the email i sent support last night either

I’m getting disconnected about every 10 – 15m,totally random.Honestly,i never ever crash before,this is all happening since the last patch.I tried a repair,remove local.dat,even reinstalled drivers eventhough they were working perfectly fine.This is now about the 8th crash in the past 2 -3 hours,being unable to play like this and having to queue up everytime for EB is getting annoying.

Just rolled back drivers, still no joy , oh well as support have actually responded to 2nd email i`ve sent, maybe i`ll get some help .
