My GW2 crashes all the time, it tends to crash when it gets more intense, you’d think it had something to do with the gfx card or so, but it has always worked perfectly fine before. For some reason GW2 detects my OS as Windows 6.1, I have no clue why.

The report is attached in a .txt file.

Mine only tends to crash when the game becomes more intense, I’m running Windows 7 32bit so I partly blame the lack of memory. Not sure if this is the actual issue though.

(Just a side note, I used to run on 64bit, recently changed to a different W7 installation which happened to be 32bit, and it hasn’t worked properly on the 32bit)

6.1 is the internal version number of Windows 7.
The cause of the crash is the lack of memory due to the 32bit limitation.
Change the os to 64 bit and build more ram in your pc.
Meanwhile you should reduce the graphics.

I have 8GB of RAM, should be more than enough, but like you said, 32bit limitation.

32-bit Windows can only use 4 GB in total .. and 2 GB per application. Since also some
Memory is used for system thats in reality something like 3.5 GB total, and 1.5 per application.

So no .. its not enough. Only solution is to upgrade to 64-bit Windows.

EVERY MMO is awesome until it is released then its unfinished. A month after release it just sucks.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
