Hello.

Weird thing happened to me an hour ago.

What is wrong: the game starts up normally, although it is minimized on the taskbar (please see my screenshot), and it looks like it is very very minimized. Why ? Because when I click it, I can hear the music.
Yes, my music is shut down when im not in gw itself. Thats my settings.

What I was doing when things got wrong:
I was half in gw, half on youtube checking some gw video, in the meanwhile i was converting something, ect. ect. I was running quite a bunch of stuff at the same time.

What Happened:
I got some crappy windows error. It said my windows sidebars failed, with some weather, and outside temerature gauges , LOL I KNOW…

Drivers are up to date. If it is meaningful for anybody, I run on 64-bit windows 7.

Please see my screenshot.

Any advice is highly apreciated.

Resolution issue, can you right click it on the task bar and say “Maximize” or “Restore”?

Nope, you can only ‘close’ it …

Were you running it Fullscreen or Windowed (Fullscreen)?

Try this: E:\User Data\Documents\Guild Wars 2 (or where ever your Documents folder is)

And backup the Local.dat then delete it:

It should default all the game settings.

And for the record, I did run in windowed mode, that explains why I was running all these other things in the meanwhile :-)
