Geforce 555mm Lag issues
From your description of your problem it sounds like your CPU is holding you back. Though 5-15 is kinda low for a second generation i5, even if its a laptop version. My i5 M520 @2.4Ghz does better than this. I would make sure no other heavy processes are hogging time on your CPU. GW2 will likely use up most of your CPU, so I would check CPU usage and make sure nothing else is running while playing GW2. If any of GW2’s big three threads gets stalled for a second by another process, it holds up the other two threads, thus decreasing your FPS.

none of my processes are running above 20,000 kb except guildwars. Also why would they make it 3 threads and not just one big one.

That’s just how much memory they’re using. We’re looking at percent usage. In task manager it shouldn’t reach reach higher than 75% because of your CPU. Are you running anything else that takes up a sizable amount of CPU usage?

GW2 seems to be more CPU dependent than other games which are usually GPU dependent. You can’t really do much about your laptop.
only thing thats running when guildwars is up is the game my virus protector and my graphics card manager. 10-20% CPU usage when guildwars is running

10-20% CPU utilization while the game is running is very low. I would be concerned that something is wrong with your hardware. I would go into your BIOS and turn off all energy saving features.
