No matter what i do my frame rate is always low, and i run everything else i throw at this baby rusn at about 60 frames or more. I have updated all the drivers and tried multiple things, if anyone has any insight to this it would be much appreciated. I watch other people play this just fine on older builds; quite upsetting.
My build goes as such
AMD FX™-6100 Six core processor (6 CPUS)~ AT 3.3ghz
10 GB Ram
Evga 560ti 2 gigs of video ram with the 306.23 drivers installed.
Is there something im missing? Or is this a horrible build or something?

its not you dont worry
its either the game or the fact that there arent any drivers out there yet for gw2
im also experiencing low fps, ill just stick to spvp till its done. i get normal fps in spvp for some reason…

Thank you haha. But i dont understand i drop in just the world…sometimes ill hit about 17 fps. And in any type of pvp my frames eat it, i dont know why though. i understand that its an mmo and it can eat up a lot while having tons of stuff going on, i just wouldnt think it would be to the point where the game feels unplayable.

The current issue will be with your CPU more than graphics card, I think.
AMD users seem to be getting the worst of it. Hopefully they’ll make it better for you soon!

Same here.
Intel i7
4 Go RAM DDR 3
Nvidia 680 GTX
Win 7 64 bits
updated drivers, even formated and reinstalled my entire system.
Average FPS 15/20. Very max too 35/40.
Pretty annoying …

Im running nVidia 304.79 Beta driver as recommended by arenanet at some time. Running consistently at about 110fps maxed out. Running on same OS and GFX as Klapstok above me. I had severe FPS issues with all other nvidia drivers.
You guys probably tried this already but im just bringing up the mention in case.

Intel i7 2600
8gig ram
2x 6870
64bit Win7
Latest Catalyst 12.8
Getting ~30fps avg, lower during bigger battles ect. Not exactly smooth performance out of a machine that can play BF3 / Skyrim w/ max settings and not suffer fps drops, but still quite playable.
I’m wondering if anyone is taking a good look at all the settings inside and outside of the game we can play with to optimise performance – if anyone has helpful links to that it’d be much appreciated.

Well im pretty sure from everywhere I have been reading that its the AMD cores that are getting screwed over. Intel has had many issues, because i also read that the game is CPU intensive and even tho i have 6 cores running at 3.3 ghz, its not enough…..-.-

It’s not that Amd core are getting screwed over. Your getting screwed by Amd.
