Guild Wars 2

I am getting so sick of constantly getting game crashes during world events, I normally have had it only occur while I was in the midst of a zerg at world boss events or the scarlet invasions. Now I am getting the issue when I am gunning the turret at the Tequatl fight so I am nowhere near the constant spell spamming. Under my graphics “auto-detect” places everything on “High” for me. I have even lowered all of the settings down to “Medium” and “Low” and I am having the same issue. I have checked all of my drivers and they are up-to-date, I have also performed System Diagnostics to verify my hardware IS NOT THE PROBLEM!!! I am GROWING TIRED OF THIS and whatever it is is an issue with the game and it’s utilization of the proper components. I have included my System Information as provided by my NVIDIA Control Panel. but to let you know my hardware as well I will state it as follows:

I need a fix to this immediately because I have had this happen to me twice when my server was on the brink of defeating Tequatl!! If I miss this win because of a GW2 crash I may just uninstall the game and say the hell with wasting my money on this game and it’s Gem Store any further. Full rage mode.

I have had the same client crash as well, it is very frustrating.
I have the feeling that it could very well be the new driver from Nvidia but that is speculation.
I ~repaired my client but it still happens.
I might(later on) try to revert to an older driver and see how that goes.

I actually have had this issue on 3 separate drivers so I don’t feel that it’s a driver issue. I have been told that for many they believe it is the lack of GW2 utilizing/recognizing more than 8GB of RAM, but I do not know.

Another CTD. Odd I never had this happen before. Maybe I will lower the culling and see what happens. Still using latest Nvidia driver.

This has been constantly happening to me during Tequatl fights. I’m getting real ticked off about it.

There was another post showing really high memory use but that might just be the users system.
Feels like a memory leak. I will have to check out the crash log next time and not get impatient.

I watched as mine lagged for the last 2 minutes of the entire event so I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a memory leak.

I found myself fighting on the edges of Teq event. No skill lag if I stood outside of the big red event circle, but as soon as I tried to activate a skill within the circle – bam! skills lag out and eventualy the game will dc me.

Just had another crash tonight, all settings set on “Medium” and “Low” when auto-detect does set everything on “High,” which kept me from completing my Tequatl “Sunbringer” title as I needed “Power Play” Highly irritated right now. I’m on the verge of giving up on this game altogether, the frustration from trying to get a coordinated fight for Teq going and then crashing is too much. I should not have to have my anxiety levels go through the roof because ANet cannot fix a problem with the game.
