Yep! It’s a depth blur bug on the timberline falls map. If you disable depth blur, it will go away.
I reported this in game just the other day, but I’ve been noticing it for a couple months now, just kept forgetting to report it while playing with hubs.
I haven’t been able o correct the issue by any means other than restarting or, most importantly, disabling the depth blur. It isn’t always present either, sometimes it just starts randomly after having been on the map for awhile.
I can’t recall any specific event that triggers it, it just seems to happen. The other day though, I noticed it after dying and using a waypoint to rez near sector zuhl. (but it’s happened all over the map, not just that location)
Cool thanks! As long as disabling the depth blur fixes it for now I’m happy.
Test it out next time and post back to confirm if that worked for you too. Maybe the devs will see it and be able to get a fix for it sooner or later.
What render filtering to you use? Sub sampling? Native? super Sampling?
I use super sampling and have never seen this with depth blur :o

Same, I’ve heard nvidia isn’t that greatly optimized with GW2 so the last thing I want to do is stress my card out.
