Guild Wars 2

I’ve purchased this game now, but I haven’t gotten my new laptop to run it yet. Next weekend I am planning on purchasing one, what would be suitable specs to run this on at least medium with 40+FPS? Thanks!

In WvW its not possible to get 40 fps as the minimum even on a desktop. The highest minimum fps u can aim for is 30 fps with a desktop.

This is NOT possible with a laptop, since u cant OC the cpu.

That said, the best u can do is aim for a high stock clock speed. I recommend the following CPU’s for laptops.
3840QM
3820QM
3740QM
3720QM
3630QM

As for graphics, ether get a 470m,570m,or 660m (or AMD equivalent) for medium settings and OK fps.
or
Get the 680m or 7970m for High settings and good fps.

Do NOT get any in between as the tiny performance increase over the 660m,570m,470m, for the price they cost ..is not worth it (i.e 670m,675m /AMD equivs)

Note: A laptop that can run GW2 well will cost ALOT , so be prepaired.
