Guild wars won't install right.
I think there are server problems. I’ve been booted out of the game about 3 times, and the frames/screen is moving very slowly.
I’d try again tomorrow morning when they’ve fixed their systems.
I’ll ask the basics, are you running the installer (and/or gw2.exe) as administrator? Have you temporarily disabled any antivirus/firewall softwares? Could you please post your system specs (mostly CPU, GPU, ram, os, hdd free space)?
Vshiz…zle, I think you are experiencing something different, you may want to check your error codes and look around the forums a bit. (lol the forums don’t like your name)
Ejduck, if you still can’t get it working after that, try this link:
Download the installer from the link posted within the thread and let me know how you go.

Unfortunately just saying you have the same problem is not enough for us to help solve it.
We need a lot more info.
What are the specs of your new pc? A game advisor report would also help: http://us.ncsoft.com/gameadvisor/
I’m having the same problem using a computer specifically built for GW2. I had it installed a while back, and for some reason deleted it. Now that I’m trying to reinstall it, I can’t.
Attached is my game advisor report.
Thanks.

Have you ever been able to play? Because your report shows a standard VGA graphics card that is not built for gaming and is most likely the reason the game won’t install. And with all the update the game has had over the year, I would not be surprised if the minimum requirements to play have gone up.

I have been able to play. Which then I guess means that the reason it got deleted was because I formatted my hard drive and lost the video driver.
It’s been a LONG time since I’ve played. I’ll try updating my video driver and see if that works. Thanks!
EDIT: You nailed it! After reinstalling the video drivers, it runs like a charm now. Thanks so much!
