Help with Router for GW2!
Sounds like your net connection. Don’t know where you live so I can’t say what steps to take because I don’t know your net type, eg ADSL, Fibre.
Do a power cycle/isolation test/different modem.
Tried with two others a netcomm modem and another netgear and same thing happens plus this modem/router is brand new.
Are you using ADSL modem thats connected to your phone line? Are you getting static noises from the phone? If yes you might want to contact your ISP and have your line checked.

isolation test
yes its adsl and there is no phone noises and we have already checked with our isp and they said everything is fine their end.
Can you try plugging in directly to your adsl modem? if there’s no problem then it might be your router. If you still continue getting disconnected even directly connected to your adsl modem you can check your phone box and phone wires see if the wires got busted or something.
Problems like these are usually the line/phone box/modem. Really best to check it with your ISP service tech specially if you’re paying them. Have them either personally check the lines or change your adsl modem.
edit : Btw sometimes even though they said it’s clear on their side its usually the phone box got problems.

^^^its a modem/router.
Is your phone sharing the same line as your internet connection? I have not dealt with DSL a good while but we used to have to put filters inline on the phones to stabilize our DSL connection.
Try logging into your modem to check the signal quality. Traditionally the IP is 192.168.100.1

Are the modem/router ISP owned? I don’t usually rely on modem/router combo I always used a separate connection (modem + separate router for pcs).
If the modem/router is isp owned let them check it physically might be borked or something

yer there is a dsl filter splitter what im gunna do is replace all the dsl leads and the filter/splitter to see if that fixes it up, and the modem/router isn’t isp owned it a 160$ one from netgear for gaming lol.
make sure you don’t put a filter on the phone line to your modem.
What do you mean? I have an adsl splitter thingy where a dsl cord from the phone and from the modem plug into then that goes into the wall…that’s how it’s supposed to be setup I’m pretty sure…I do have a live connection it just cuts out with heavy bandwidth and I need to stop it.
if you put filters on every phone line in the house “but” the one to the modem, it should clear the issue up. But if you run a phone and the modem on the single phone jack then it should go splitter → filter → telephone, and the other port should be splitter → modem.
If that doesn’t work try getting a new splitter.
