I’m having super delay issues today. My internet is ok, no problems with bandwith. Attached is the Network Diag from gw2.exe -diag launcher

My usual ping with the server is 200-340ms. Beyond that 340ms is a very big problem because it will take more than 4 seconds for my character to cast skill/spell. This is really problematic. I’m from Philippines and I was routed to US server. In the tracert results in network diag, it shows that i was 1st routed to US then to Paris then to US.

How can we solve this ping/delay issue?

same problem here im also from phillipines 2-4 secs just to cast spell/skill

looks like the problem is in GW2 routing, hopefully they will solve this soon.

On our end all we could do is report, report and report hoping that they would see this

I get extreme lag spikes at night. During the day it is fine but at 5pm central time it never fails… I start getting ping spikes until about 9am the next morning. As a hardcore dungeon runner/soloer this is a big issue. I submitted a ticket yesterday but no response yet. Here recently I’ve been disconnecting every few minutes as well, which is making this unplayable. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately a lot of people are experiencing lag during internet prime time it’s not typically the game but just the number of people on the internet and your ISP will not admit it but they are know to throttle user speeds during that time so there is not a lot that can be done also the path to the game servers can be an issue, the number of hopes and the Ping rate at each hop has a great deal to do with lag.

I’m getting lots of packet loss for a plaync server. Yesterday’s score was 100% when I ran the -diag command.

Your problem is you live in the US and are on a European server you need to change to a US server. The US servers are in Texas and the EU servers are in Germany.

I am in the US server, it’s the problem with the routing. I called my ISP to double check but it is not their scope.

As you can see. at hop 5 it routed me to US then at hop 12 to paris then germany then back to US.

I’ve been playing on Blackgate server

I’ve had the same problem here, I’m from the EU on Desolation and I seem to rubberband and bad skill delay during the evening but not so bad late at night, even when I engage combat with a small group or a single player.

It might be due to my ISP but I don’t know for sure.

im playing on ruins of surmia server and im also experiencing extreme lag issues

I play on blacktide, and also getting insane lag.

same here from philippines my internet connection is good but the lag just to switch weapons would nid 3-4 sec…

Wow that is really odd I would say you may have a virus redirecting your internet threw a proxy server to some Eastern European site threw Germany. Not sure though maybe someone else has an answer. Also you may what to submit a support ticket for this,this could be some weird routing issue with the GuildWars servers. Pease let us all know if you get this resolved I be interested in what the answer is for this strange issue.

i have crashed out of tequatl thrice already (for those of you who dont do tequatly, we go in an overflow and wait for an entire hour for him to come). During the few times i dont crash, i still cant play it because of the severe lag.
