I currently am not able to select this option, it is grayed out. I updated my video card’s drivers. I had all settings on maximum except shadows which I have off. I talked to other people and they said they have it checked. What is the problem and what is the solution?

Are you using 32bit OS?

What card do you have? That is grayed out because your video card probably doesn’t have enough video memory.

It’s the OS and known limitation. Was posted way back in beta that high res won’t work in 32bit OS.

Afaik you can still use your win 7 32bit serial to win 7 64bit you just need to download the installer.
