Q:

I have everything patched and I played with no issues since last week, but now I can log-in perfectly but after hitting the “Play” button client freezes, a black background appears under the client and if I click again anywhere a message pops from windows stating the program does not respond, after which Guild Wars 2 is shut down.

I have seen a post similiar to this from 5 days ago saying it was solved by removing ASUSgamerosd from the pc, I already did it and it hasn’t worked, please I don’t know what could be malfunctioning I was playing smoothly last week and I don’t think the patch has anything to do with this. I attach the Arenanet.log but i don’t know if it will be useful.

Eh, the log only has dated crashes from 2012, so we won’t be finding the answers there. First, make sure you are not overclocking any part of your machine, we’ll eliminate that first. Make sure no other on screen displays (OSD) are on. I know there are ones in MSI’s Afterburner and Mumble.

You’ll also want to make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Assuming you haven’t upgraded your computer since September of last year, you can find the latest drivers here:
