I know this has been brought up before. but is anyone else getting extreme fps drops in caves at all?

I get 40-100+ fps in most areas, but there isnt a cave I can do in without dipping down to anywhere between 10-15 fps.

And yes, my PC is more than capable (I built this rig just for this game hahaha), and everything is up to date.

I would just like to know if anyone is having this same issue at all..

I was fine when the game first released. Then I started getting huge FPS drops in caves for a while. Then it stopped. Not sure what changed other than a patch or two. But I was getting it for a while.

Hmm. I actually get better fps in caves because there are less stuff to cpu/render.

Sounds like after the game updated you’ve got some corrupted texture files or some such? I’d try running a repair on your client files.

ok! so I did a repair/verify and I’m still getting terrible performance in caves. oh well....guess i just wont do certain quests O.o
