Hey everyone,

I’m here because I noticed my fps in game seems to be locked at 43 whether my settings are set to best performance or best appearance, this goes for pretty much anywhere in Gw2, and then there are times when it’s a stable 60 fps, (also either max settings or lowest). For the most part it’s stuck at 43 though..

Any assistance would be appreciated, I’m wanting to know if there’s an issue with my rig.

My specs: i7-3770 (non K)
AMD 7870
ASUS P8Z77-V LX
4GB ram (DDR3 1600, one stick)

Is it possible that you have frame limiter on? When I put it to 60 it sometimes caps it at around 50. Try turning it off (and on again if you wish to keep it at 60)

Ah wow that worked. I set it to unlimited causing my fps to shoot up to 100+, then I set it back down to 60, for a moment it returned to 43 fps before changing to 60 and staying that way. I guess that’s it then haha.

Yeah, I don’t know what causes it, best play around with it if it starts acting up again. Glad to hear it got fixed this easily though!
