I received an email from ANet...
Yes, the English is terrible, nothing this unprofessional would come to you from any company. The evidence is present in the first “sentence”.
I’m still taken aback about how people can’t spot these things right away.

That is bad! You may want to delete those links so no one else actually clicks on them and maybe forward this email to the arenanet team for investigation and possibly to warn customers of this. (reason I suggest deleting is if they are substituting lower case L with a capital I (i), it could still cause a problem)
Done
lol the beginning of the link “ttps” very creative they are getting now a days.
I googled “ttps” and came out with Trinidad and Tobago Police Service. The police are after your GW2 account!

Classic poor translations always read like this:
“Once your account is complete certification, we will check your account and let you know that we can do for you.”

Naw, that’s how the OP edited the link to make sure some unsuspecting user doesn’t click on it. I have gotten two of the above emails as well, but they’re automatically routed to my spam folder.
Just like how I get email that my nonexistant D3 account got hacked or my b.net account was compromised, it was only a matter of time before I got my fake gw2 emails that claim my account was hacked. You know you’ve made it to the big leagues once emails like that go out (good job ArenaNet).
