yes, from the anet server, because its designed to not repond to the pings.

Should I post my stuff? My game has been laggy, I’m not great with pings/networking etc. But it seems like there is a 10% loss at my TWC roadrunner, and then huge losses ranging from 20-80% at the ones I listed.

Crazy lag since patch rendering the game almost unplayable. 1 second delays to almost every action.

Been playing fine most of today but suddenly unplayable from about 8pm for both me and my sister who share the internet (we never have lag issues normally and have checked every possible cause)

I have had the same error code, I’m consistently disconnected from the game. when i do get to play I really enjoy it but this hitting massive lag spikes and being disconnected is not exactly inspiring me to want to play/ invest anymore money into the game. I have not had this problem with any other MMOs I have played. Which is a shame because most of them seem rubbish in comparison but are actually stable on my computer.

I’m the same. Been getting lag spikes for the past week, but the May 30th patch made WvW entirely inaccessible (I get the error 7:etc:etc after about 5 minutes of loading screen). PvE still works, sort of, though it takes longer to load than it normally does and is prone to the odd lag-spike.
The -diag log shows the connection working fine until it gets to your servers (.plaync.com) when it suffers 100% packet loss. Other online games (Mount & Blade Warband: Napoleonic Wars, Company of Heroes) are working fine on the same computer and internet connection.

This is getting impossible to play now. The skill lag/disconnects in WvW have got worse for me, and now I’m getting the same problem in normal world zones. In Queensdale I’m disconnected (without knowing it), almost instantly upon entering. What is going on? exasperated

its back again, i posted here 4 days ago was able to play for 2 days now its back today really badly too, not even on the game for 2-3 mins before error message, all i want to do is play :’(
more diagnostics personally having the same issue, originally thought it might be my computer, but after a couple virus scans, defrags, and diagnostics of my computer i finally figured out it may not be my computer that’s the issue
edit: added dxdiag in-case that helps in any regard

I’ve now tried on ten straight occasions to load my character (in Southsun Cove) and getting the same failures as I was getting in WvW a couple of days ago. This really isn’t funny any more Arenanet.
Game had been playing fine for a while, now I am yet AGAIN getting stupidly long loading screens with 2 of my characters (others are fine). I have had this problem on and off for the last 6 months or more. Getting sick of it.

You will never hear another word in this thread from Anet, They avoid anything that is their fault like the plague.
Had this for about a month now on and off, 1-2 sec skill lag, jump back and forth players/enemys, not fun at all.

I had the same, thought the problem was gone for a few days then it comes back tonight in Arah.
Horrendous.
Still happening. All I tried to do with char is move across Lions Arch and now stuck on eternal loading screen of annoyance.
When this does it is usually always my necro and my ranger. All my other characters are generally fine.
When I contacted Anet support a few months ago, after a bit of digging they basically told me I should uninstall Kaspersky because it is know to cause issues. Now, I know this is at least partly true, because if kaspersky is running a scan it can affect guild wars and other games – therefore i make sure the scan runs at times I’m not trying to play. However, they could not tell me what a suitable alternative was for a virus checker and I’m NOT going to uninstall something I have months left of a licence for when I cannot be sure a different virus checker won’t have the same issue!
Everything had been fine (at least since the LAST time I had these issues a couple of months back) until the updates around end May.
Not happy doubt will ever be given the deafening silence of Anet on the issue in general.

Also having this problem, stupidly thinking the problems was my graphics card since I have 75+ fiberoptic broadband with BT but alas it didn’t change anything I mainly get the issues in instances and certain story lines both where there’s a large space / a lot of action / events are happening e.g battle of claw island

Still happening. World vs World inaccessible from 6pm to 12am every night. Taking people’s money and then not providing enough servers for them to access the product they paid for: are Arenanet pitching for an EA takeover or something?
Don’t know if this has been mentioned yet but there’s practically the same issue on guild guru forum with an answer

That ANET guy has no idea how Packet Loss is measured and is selling you lies. The only loss that matters is on the last hop. You can have 100% loss on any of the hops before that and it will still work fine. Why? Because traffic routers ignore ghost packets ( from ping/traceroute ) when they are busy routing serious kitten.

This morning i saw that my framerate is getting lower and lower. Now i have like 8 FPS in Lion’s Arch and major cities and when the game worked fine i used to have around 25 when the server was highly populated. Outside LA i get maximum of 24 which is low in comparison with what i was used to.

Game is totally unplayable.
I have a high spec pc. Which was on BT internet. Which I noticed around May. Started giving me huge lag spikes.
Recently bought the latest top end MAC and changed our isp to sky. Which is much faster and better ping. The lag is now totally unplayable on any platform. PC or MAC.
It is not an ISP issue, this is at AN’s end.

Whenever this error 7 thing strikes the game is unplayable.
had a bout of it 2 weeks ago. then it got better. then since yesterday its been plaguing me all afternoon, gets better during the night, then now this afternoon its completely killing any attempt at playing.
At it’s worst, I get into the game for merely 3-5 mins before it kicks me out and when its better its maybe 20-30 mins.
No discernable rhyme or reason. its not because of heavy load from lots of players/effects being around, as I’m lagging/disconnecting even while merely switching items from bank into inventory. and its not my ISP as i’ve had the same ISP the whole time since I began playing back in Christmas and no trouble up till 2-3 weeks ago.

Same problem here again the last time this happened was when they put the super adventure box in. Game became unplayable contacted Anet for help they had me run test their answer was that it was my ISP. Contacted my ISP they said nothing was wrong until I tried to play GW. The only thing that kinda help was resetting my router then it went from getting kicked every couple minutes to getting kicked every 30 minutes or so. I really dont want to have to reset router every time there is an update getting 3 PCs 2 laptops and a printer back on the network is a pain.
Yesterday my crashes consisted of everything freezing in-game except for me and then eventually crashing to the character screen with the error in the title of this thread.
However, today my crashes consist of the screen going immediately black, with no lag or freezing, and then a box appearing with the error code…no character screen either and I have to force close to get out. Before yesterday I’ve never had any crash issues with the game.

Large lag delays of 10 seconds or more making the game unplayable in any zone.
Be interested and very happy if Anet ever get round to sorting this, it looks like its killing a good 25% of the playerbase atm.
Pingplotter shows some packet loss as it bounces around but then it did for my buddy also who doesnt have much of the lag issue.
It is definitely an AN issue. I won’t be accepting, check your ISP.
I’ve had it for other a month. On TWO different isps as I switched and on two different rigs.
Something is not right their end.

Please guys, phone Sky tech support and ask this to be raised as a complaint on your account, I just have as this has been going on 45 days for me now.
There is a thread on their help forums, and so far the best response has been:
" I had spoken to one of my colleagues about a similar issue and he said that it will be down to one of the intermediary servers dropping the connections – when they get busy rather than causing everyone to slow they “lose” a few packets so the majority of users can have uninterrupted game play. At least that was his theory anyway."
Also having some lag problem in the prime time that I never had before. Skills flashing and characters warping from place to place.
