Lag issues in Latin America

Can any tech dev confirm its an issue with latin america connections or something else?
Lots of lag these last days. Any form of PvP is simply unplayable.
Bump, I can play with BattlePing, but My friends who have not tunnel paid services can’t.
I’ve been feeling too much lag to play Guild Wars 2 and I can play now only dawn, Anet please tell me what is happening =(
its pretty much impossible to play with this lag in south america, now i can play for like 1-2 hours day.
Please fix this.
Im playing from Chile and im getting terrible lag when playing gw2 now. This started happening last weekend for me and it is making the game unplayable for me. ( It it the worst on the weekends).
Same problem here. Im from Argentina, Mendoza. Tell me what can i do to help you fix this issue.
I have the same issue, since 2 or 3 weeks. I’m from Chile, and some guildmate have the same issue. We just can’t pvp…
The lag here happened after update of May 28th if I’m not mistaken, and walks impossible to play, just at dawn I see that the lag is gone and then I can play more quiet so the problem should be noticed in USA =(

4 sec delay to use a skill…
Today it is the worse ive ever seen and i have this lag problem only with Gw2. ( cant cast any skills properly or walk)

5. Right-click on “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” and select “Properties.”
6. Locate the “Target” line and add the following to the end “-diag”
Your target line should look like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -diag
7. Click “Ok” to save your changes.
8. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Diagnostic” to start the test.
Once completed, please click “View Results” and save the results to a text file on your desktop

Bump, having mostly skill lag since 07/01/2013, everything but gw2 works fine.
Its really unplayable at this point, terrible lag spikes all the time and everywhere. WvW, PvE and PvP. i thought it was the new version of my drivers that i had installed, but after downgraded to previously version the lag spikes were still there, i’m from Brazil playing since lunch and never had this problem since last patch, dunno what’s going on but its getting on my nerves already. pls take a look at it.
Same thing has been happening to me for a few days. I am from Sao Paulo – Brazil. My guildmates are also experiencing these lag spikes which makes it impossible to either play pve or pvp.
Aaaaaand the lag is back.

Sorrow’s Furnace. Playing from Argentina. For past 3 or 4 days the server has been real laggy/choppy. Before that it was fine, no lag at all. It’s getting difficult to even play anymore. Any official response?

Good Night! I’m from Argentina and I mean it’s impossible to play in these conditions, we work all day and use the game as a relaxing activity, but it is stressful with so much lag, and therefore since I am seriously considering leaving this game.
I hope that in the first reply to this post some administrator to not continue with so much uncertainty.

Having the same problem since 2 or 3 days ago. Brazil.
Having lag problems here too, since the last update (jun 26). Brazil, Sao Paulo.
This impossible to play and this is occurring only with Guild Wars 2, before the 28th I was no more lag problems started to occur after that these lag until dawn goes hard right now, there’s no way to fix this? ¬ ¬

Sorrow’s Furnace. Playing from Argentina. 30 MB Fibertel ISP, connection running flawlessly. After the last update the server has been insanely laggy/choppy. Before that it was fine, no lag at all. It’s getting difficult to even play anymore.
Same problem here in Brazil ( rio de Janeiro .. since last update i can t play .
pve or pvp.. wvw .. .. imposible play about these days !

I followed their intructions but the program seems to recognize server’s ip address being an email address. I’m not sure whether or not I’m doing it right but there’s a pic enclosed showing what’s going on whenever i try to add server’s ip.

Hi Saiki, you need to erase the last :0 in the IP.
Same problem here, Brazil (Ceara). Min latency I got from one of the GW2 ips was 240ms, but the server connection was about 400+ms. Can’t enjoy the game as it is.
Also, it’s not a problem on my side, I’ve played other online games with no problem, downloads at max speed, only problem is with GW2 so….
