Guild Wars 2

I just got a new computer. And im running around when the games lags, and some times stops for a few mins. I dont think this is server side, think it might be my computer.
Any ideas or help would be nice.

Also, every so often the game in window mode changes the text at the top of the window from “Guild Wars 2” to chines or something. dont know if they are related though.

we need more info, what spec is the system, how much memory, how much storeage, how many storage drives, wwhich version of windows are you using, which drivers.

Does it do it in other games? could it be overheating? could the psu be overloaded? was the system build with gaming in mind?

Processor: Intel Core i7-4700HQ CPU @ 2.4 GHz
Installed memory 8 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Intel HD Graphics 4600

Windows 8

No other games at this moment, no overheating, dont know on the psu.

Just to clarify, when you say lag, do you mean low FPS or actual input delay. Input delay could be like pressing a button to use a skill and 4 seconds later the skill is actually used. Low FPS is low frame rate, meaning choppy game play.
