Guild Wars 2

I have huge latency issues now after the latest patch. I connect it takes forever to actually get into the game to actually control my avatar even login. When I get in finally everyone is jumping all over due to the major lagg and my UI is nearly unusable due to the lagg and I eventually disconnect or get kicked. I do not know if it is my ISP end but this just happened after the patch, we do have a 3 company monopoly with telecom in Canada. They throttle our internet to 3rd world countries speed so maybe they are doing it to this game from recent changes? I just find it so odd now I was playing it every day now it is totally messed up unplayable. Anyone else having issues like this from Canada?

Fellow Canadian here, same issue. as on about 40 mins ago game has been unplayable. ping tests to other websites come back fine. other games/internet activities are not slow.

It’s not just you. I can’t play at all with all this lag.

Ah maybe patch issue or maintenance on ISP I haven’t played since yesterday morning I guess we’ll see? I logged in at a bad time maybe hope it’s just that. Thanks for the quick reply btw hope we get this resolved either way.

I’m having the same issue. The lagg has been a problem for almost 20 mins now. I live in Canada as well

are we all with rogers? if so might be something to do with ISP, however I seem to have fine connection to other things :/

Ah ya I saw that but apparently our internet is still behind and 3rd world technology ya was on Wow when they were actually doing that throttling luckily they stopped still l don’t trust them, off topic ha ha. Appreciate the info I’ll check it out. Ya I guess it’s Rogers the lesser Evil from Bell, I guess I misinterpreted since I didn’t play all day :\

A bit of an overstatement, we are probably one of the worst of the 1st world but lets not exaggerate :/

Edit: update fixing sigils in the aspect arena did not fix this lag, hope there is a fix tomorrow, I’ve given up playing for today. Have constant delay yet cannot get a DC for an error code. Perhaps posting one if you get it will help the devs.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I’m on rogers as well, took a two month break and this is what I come back to… getting d/c’d a lot also..
