Hi. I’m having a problem with launching the game. Each time i run the game, launcher starts downloading about 10 megabytes. It never proceeds to patch the game when there’s no actual patch, it just does that downloading part before like in the picture.

Hello, I have the same issue here the Launcher seems to need a never ending update, so I too downloaded the Test and ran it here’s my results hope this helps to get rid of this bug

Run as Administrator. Because the system isn’t allowing the launcher to update itself.

it would be great to get a response on how to fix this problem. I tried the “run as admin” and it did not fix it for me.

Yeah Run as admin doesn’t work… First thing I do if something doesn’t work is do that.
Can I ask what Operating System you guys are using?

Im using windows 7… i’ve also shut off my antivirus to see if that helped, but it didnt. Worked fine a few days ago, now.. just endless loading on the launcher screen.

or are you getting stuck at this screen?

No. I can login without problems after that.

Additionally, I would suggest trying to disable your User Account Control

I always have UAC disabled on my computer so that advice wasn’t helpful unfortunately.

With me sorry to but in the Launcher begins but begins updating but continues to do so, I can’t get to the login screen

Hi Josipva, I have the same issue. The game starts downloading 200k files evertime I logon, it takes 2-4min then the game starts. I downloaded the advisor, as suggested, and sent them a report but I have no reply since. I keep getting emails asking me to dl the “same” advisor and send a report. I am glad I am not the only one with this problem. The game runs fine it is tedious to wait.

Try backing up GW2.dat and reinstall the game. Just paste your backed up GW2.dat. worked for me when i had this problem.
