List of ISPs with LAG since last patch
No problems here in Nagoya, Japan. At least on So-Net, though if it’s packet loss, sounds more like backbone servers not the ISP. Since Cogentco is the backbone for most South American and European countries, as well as it’s the apparent areas affected. I’d look to them for something to be wrong before blaming the ISP themselves.
WvW Roamin for days!
Mine’s America/Texas : At&t, not sure if this is one of them, but I’ve been getting problems from the patch at first they were minor but for the past couple of days it’s been unplayable.
Spend some money on gems mate, they might get it fixed in the blink of an eye.

The lag started already with the southsun patches for some people.

only online game with lag problems so far,
tried updating my drivers, restarting my router, reconfiguring my router (tried a few other dns servers).
I tried 3 different pc’s (one at work even) and 2 different accounts
all with the same problems (lag spikes from 1 to 8 sec)

It started with last patch? Happens only to GW2? Other games should be fine.
Every player from those brazilian ISPs listed here is lagging. Only one ISP from Brazil seems to be unaffected (GVT)
If all users from AT&T were affected we would see a lot (more) players complaining. And it would propably be resolved by now.
But don’t forget to submit a ticket, provide them the Game Advisor and Ping Plotter files (if needed)
If you get the same response we got, it’s an ISP issue, come back here and we will add your ISP to the list.
And I’d like to see a user from the ISPs listed here that doesn’t have any issues.

I remember when i could roam EB at a very happy 65-60FPS engagement being around 45-40FPS… Now it’s 40FPS roaming with engagement devolving into 20-15FPS. This came up at the LAST patch they did. whatever they did it screwed the pooch.

2-4 second skill lag constantly every evening since the last patch. This doesn’t happen in any other games tested at the same time, nothing has changed at my end or with my ISP. Don’t try to fob us off with the same old diagnostic requests. I’ve attached one anyone since a rep is bound to ask yet again.

People should come back every once in a while to bump and keep this up. I want to some how get a dev in this. I’m determined to get this kitten noticed. It also better not be that generic “do this list of things first and post that then make a ticket” Others have been doing that for the past 3 weeks with 0 posted results. They won’t even admit that it’s something wrong with their servers
Sometimes, i can fix my lag resetting my router (and obtaining a new IP). I guess some range of ips might have bad routing or something.

I don’t think that it happens with others, (like USA) or else there would be people with torches in front of Anet offices.

Unplayable. About 3 second skill delay in open world, from 5 to 10 seconds when a group is around and I just can’t do anything at all in a WvW battle, only wait until I get killed or my group wins (this usually ends up with a disconnection).
The best way to get the developers attention is to submit a support ticket. To save some time add a PingPlotter and a NCSoft Game Advisor report.
Sending the ticket makes the aware of the problem and also provides them a hand-full of information that might help solve the problem.

I just tried that. They lied, and blamed the problem on my ISP, which has zero trouble with any other game.

Guys – as I have said previously, please submit a technical support ticket with this information if you’re still experiencing issues. When we suggest players contact their ISP it is because we have found a considerable amount of packet loss that only the ISP can do anything about. We’re not simply sending away every player that submits a ticket.
Again, if you’re still experiencing lag or connectivity issues please submit a ticket so that we can better assist you one on one. It can be very difficult to obtain much needed information through the forums especially when players don’t provide all requested info or are afraid to share it due to security concerns.
Did ArenaNet just say “We’re not fixing it. Go bug your ISP”? I’ve got TimeWarner Cable & the neat little lag you guys are talking about. So glad I’m already on the list.

Ever since we both downloaded the previous patch, on a note of interest. For 3 days there were no issues with anything other than GW2 disconnecting. We were both still connected to the internet, able to steam movies on netflix while the game continually disconnected. One computer even went full crash.
So, we’ll see if giving the whole house an overhaul fixes the GW2 issue or not. I’ll keep you updated.

I have been having lag issues since the Sky Pirates patch.
My ISP is USA, Charter Communications as well.
I play EVERYTHING else fine. I have 0 lag in any other game. I have NO problems with download or upload. It is only GW2 with this problem. It is ESPECIALLY bad in Sanctum Sprint and it was really bad in Dragon Bash as well. It’s playable everywhere else, with annoying delays at times.

My ISP found issues outside of the house and fixed them. The lag and disconnect issues persist in GW2, and only in GW2, even after replacing outdoor wiring and modem.

Terrible lag and disconnections after 10 minutes of playing. No point even logging on until this is resolved.
I Have been lagging since July 1st, specially Jumping and Dashing, but only after 5 PM Central Europe Time.
I’m in Spain, using Telefónica.
I’m in Brazil, ISP Net.
Terrible lag since july 1st. WvWvW is unplayable and the only thing I can do on the game are the dailies.
This is freaken stupid, its like Lost Shore all over again, I’d thought anet fixed their servers by now, but instead they blaming us?
I’m from South Africa using Mweb, and I started lagging like crazy this evening, totally unplayable now and I hav guild mission in 30 min.
Atm I can download movies at 400kb, jus logged into D3 and it runs prefectly, only GW2 is giving problem, very kitten ed.

The game is unplayable during the day since july 2, the lag goes away after 12 AM server time.

I played throughout the day today and had some minor lagging, but nothing game breaking. At one point it got a little sketchy, I watched groups hop across the screen around 3pm (us server), but it cleared up again a few minutes later. So I can honestly say that I’m not being affected the same way you guys are. My ISP routes through Chicago, to Texas, to Anet (major hub regions) and it is not on the list above.
Just wanted to add further perspective from someone not experiencing the significant difficulties the rest of you are.

My lag is 5 minutes, and the game is unplayable. My sister also with BT has no issues at all. I had this lag a month or so back, but for the last 3 weeks I had no lag issues at all. Now for the 4th day, I have lag again.
By lag, I mean 100% packet loss happening inside Arenanet’s server range.

Huge lag issues started with the Skypirates event content update patches. Lag spikes, and today we experienced some hangups too (took around 20-30 sec to get back the control over the game), probably disconnections.
I play two other mmorpgs and two other mmo shooters. Not a smallest problem with them.

I have been playing for a few days with no issues whatsoever, yet today skill lag is a good 10 seconds and completely unplayable.
