Long loading times
I have pretty much the same issue. My game always loaded in a decent ammount of time, but after the halloween patch my loading times went up to minutes. In addition, loading screens tend to hang quite often now (where i never had this before) and i need to alt+f4 out of them. Also, screens like inventory and pop-up screens that tell you you moved to an overflow server take very long to load.
These issues began after the halloween patch, but this was around the same time AMD released its 12.10 vision drivers. Maybe it has a connection?
Have you 2 tried runing GW2 of a SSD instead of a standard HDD ? Load times should easyily be cut in half. Atleats it was for me.

Try deleting the Local.Dat file wich stores your graphics settings etc.Video settings do get revered back to original settings so you have to change that back to your likings again, same goes for audio. It doesnt touch your keyboard bindings so theyre safe.I actually had the same a while ago when my loading became longer for no apparant reason and i saw the size of the file was about 43mb,since i deleted it its been about 23mb and my loading is normal again.

Defrag.
As you probably know modern versions of Windows do this automatically very often, so yes – my HDD is defragmentated.

Naturally, when running anything on a faster medium, it will be faster. The problem however is that it WAS fast, and now it suddenly is not.

This seemed like a viable option and indeed my local.bat file was 40MB so I deleted it. Now its much smaller, but helas, my loading times are still minutes instead of seconds.
EDIT: it seems like only the first load was long again. When I now switch areas it is back to the previous ‘second of loading time’ state! Thanks!
