Lost my fps..
I had a similar problem with my laptop. Try re-installing the latest Nvidia driver. That fixed my issues.

Tried it, dozen times over, no luck.
I might just quit gw2, tired of it not being optimized, when I can play any other game on max settings np.
Guess it’s time to go to Tera.
the problem has to be on your end, the gods of this realm have spoken via actions rather then words, this game has no flaws, so any problems you have running this game must be on your end not anets.
duno what to tell you other then try reinstalling directx9, outside that, just accept that your getting great perf because the gods of this realm say so…..or more to tera or another mmo that runs better.

Doesn’t explain why I got a massive drop in fps all of a sudden, happened right after patch.
dosnt matter, all blaming anet will get you here is infractions and edited/deleted posts/topics, the anet gods of this realm do not want you blaming anet, when you make that mistake your risking a ban….
i know im headed for a 3rd or 4th “vacation” for speaking the truth here…. its not all the forums staff but, keep an eye for when specific members of anet staff post/reply to posts, and notice how many threads/posts are locked or deleted….and how many people become silent after…..

it sucks and, if they offered me a full refund I would take it, because its become very clear to me, they arent going to fix the “non-existent” problems with the game, at least not till theres a pile of money to be made from doing so.

If you lose fps, try to find them again… they shouldn’t be hiding that far…
And yeah maybe a laptop isn’t the ultimate gaming device you can use to play this game anyway.

At first, I assumed that this was my computer slowing down, so I started using Gamebooster and I unparked the cores in my laptop. It boosted the FPS for all of my games, however I still get an odd FPS drop in GW2. (FPS drop as in… starting a fight with 60 FPS and having it drop to 15 [for a brief second] for no apparent reason.) I still play frequently, but it’s rather irritating.

Personally I haven’t seen that here. Game is running fine, WvW is pretty awesome. Yes my fps drop too in massive battles but never stutters. Maybe you can try to play it on low….

gotta oc the chip to 4.6 to guarntee 30fps min, 5+ may get you 40-45fps min….

Do realize your talking to another person, and not ANet. I don’t roam around the forums that often, but I really haven’t seen such behavior from ANet, ever.
As for some tips to improve FPS, there’s plenty of threads on the forums with random tips here and there. I have a few on a thread in my signature

Sorry, none of that will probably help, this is the sad reality for mmos, you can run it when you get it then it all goes downhill.
