Since the release of the game I have been getting around 20 FPS on 4GB Memory and Intel HD Graphics 2000 (Which this graphics card shouldn’t be playing this game but obviously it can.) From Aug 25th – Last week I had a steady 20 FPS on all setting on low. It’s not like I care for the game detail anyways; I just enjoy the game-play. Anyways, starting last week when I started playing my frames suddenly started to get only max 7 average 4. I have a program that checks all drivers on my computer if they need to be updated and only my graphics card needed an update but the update was released December 18th and I would of noticed the problem way before a week ago. So I updated the graphics card and restarted computer and logged back in and still I am being limited to 7 max FPS. I have adjusted my 3D Rendering under the Intel graphics console to Best Performance down from Best Quality and still did nothing.
When I load my DxDiag it says it can’t locate Direct3D or DirectInput last time I used it under 32-bit settings. 64-bit gives me the information though.
Also I can play games not related to the internet perfectly fine like Sims 3 and Kingdom of Amalur with no frame problems or graphics problems.

install the very latest intel hd 2000 drivers, but apart from that, you simply cannot expect Anet to provide support for your unsupported configuration.

Minimum support specifies the lowest target that the company is required to provide after sale support for.

No they don’t have to.
You bought this game reading all the stuff from back panel of box, along with minimum requirements.

And as You don’t meet minimum requirements for game to play/start it they don’t have to bother with You because You knew form start, after your read that info and agreed for all terms of use that You don’t meet minimum requirements and yet You decided to get this game.

The fault on Low fps or barely No fps in that case is only Your problem.

I know how harsh that sounds but it’s law itself.

You got 2 options:
- upgrade Your pc getting even lowest possible parts like i3 cpu with low card like ATi HD 7770
- put Your game back to box and uinstall it cause I can’t see anyone with decent IQ play game on 20 fps at all times. Thats just hurtfull for your eyes.

I guess simple words that Anet could give me the fix my system could possibly help them in the future with keeping the community and also the budget from me buying content…or they can just blow of their customers, be known for their crappy service, me writing a review on them making more people not play GW2 and leading up to the grand finale of them losing more players….or they could simply write 50 words to tell me how to improve my performance.

You should’t judge Anet so incredibly strong on how they function either that or you had bad customer suppport with a game in the past and think Anet will be the same. But seriously keep your ideas on how Anet will support players to yourselves and actually give useful and potent information and not troll discriptions. Thanks.

Seriously how much of an prick ignorant You are?

You know that HD2000 intel graphic card is far below Minimum game requirements And Yet You come here, yelling around that game doesn’t work as it should, blaming Arena net for thier support in which case they don’t have to do this because: Guess what. You did not bother to meet minimum game requirements and yet You want THEM to or even force them to come here and somehow magicaly make game work for You.

Also they are not blowing anyone off. Why ? because You have brain. There are many informations on BOX of the game. Even in freaking internet itself. Go read forums before You buy something. and Stop Blaming someone who made a wonderfull game and You can’t play it because of ur slackness.

Guess what there are ppl with PC rigs that are far beyond minimum requirements and game isn’t working for them properly so they will get support first as they passed first and only needed point. They meet minimum rig that game requires.

In more simple words for You.
Go to a restaurant in which requirement to get serviced is wearing a Suite. And wear a t-kitten. I wanna see You getting serviced there.
Suite – no matter how expensive is, it’s suite in this case You can go buy cheap one, but you have to meet that minimum requirement which suite is. Same with this game. You need minimum PC rig to get serviced by support team because game was designed for that minimum RIg and beyond. NOT BELOW IT.

@Mrowqa first I know nothing about cars. Second I am not raging you are giving yourself that incentive. I came on forums for public support and ideas to improve my system not only for the game but also if I might have a computer problem that is arising so in the future any game I play also won’t be infected. Three I have yet to even ask Anet support and probably will not because apperently everyone makes assumptions that I depseratly need to play this game and want to rage face to Anet to make it all better. If I can’t get it worked out or get the information I need I will not play the game anymore, simple as that. So again please keep the trolling to yourselves. :]

These are Your words. Like to me it’s sounds like little kid’s raging because he can’t run this game because he didn’t meet minimum requirements ( HD3000 intel graphics ).

Your pc apart from maybe I don’t know, old call of duty won’t handle anything at minimum reuirements after 2010 year game.

So No. It’s not Your computer problem arising from dead or any wierd stuff going on. It’s Your outdated low end integrated graphic card which cannot handle new games in which You clearly trying to play with no minimum requirements.

Get new god kitten rig.

It’s obvious I can’t show sarcasem in typed words, what you linked was a sarcastic alternate solution to the problem that could of happened if I was a raging nerdy kid. You might know something about computers but apperently no social skills.

If I wanted to really get information desperately I would of said “I need to play this game right now! I am a GW2 Junky!!!!” No, I posted a problem that I was hoping that I would get some insight on but I guess not. A simple “Your Graphics card doesn’t meet the minimum requirements.” Might be a obvious and something I already know but really the lack of respect just flew away it seems like.

Yes I said Anet better give me support because I am there customer and they need to treat their customers with respect. If you buy a broken TV from best buy and walk back in saying you want a refund and best buy saying “Oh sorry we can’t refund it because you were the one who bought it and now own it, we no longer have any control of it.” Even though you bought it under their name it makes their support look bad if they don’t try to help even if its obvious they can’t. Trying is better then just flat out saying “Your fault, go away.”

How can U compare a broken TV vs a game bought ?
You realize those are 2 totaly different aspects of Law?

First one, the TV is warranty – which You get for every thing You Buy, Even games BUT there is big BUT. You won’t get warranty on the fact that game is not workign properly for You Because You did Not, and i’ll repeat that once again. You did not met minimum requiremets so You cannot Demand anything up on warranty law.

The kind of warranty that aplies to games was meet and mostly introduced during Mass effect 3 release when Creators Made a promise there will be 14 different endings. In reality there were 3-4. So customers bought game with 1 goal to go trought it 14 times to see different endings which in that case werent delivered and they Could ask money back.

The TV itself got warranty for flaws it might have. Flaws that can occur during Using it etc. which are not FAULT of User.

So basically before You come and demand something, please go read some even most simple law books when it comes to warranty and overall Customer service/selling/buying policies.

And You sir. Bought game. You read the term of Use while You installed it. You read minimum requirements on Box itself. And Yet You demand something that noone can help You with because game wasn’t tested On below Minimum requirements.
Now Anet won’t hire whole new team of computer programists Just to investigate Your case.

I am not talking about a warrenty. Where did that even come from? I am talking about support. This whole forum is about support on my gameplay nothing of this thread is me trying to get a refund or extended warrenty. I could careless for a refund. Its incredible how you bring up things not even related to the main subject of the forum and continue to insult like its getting anywhere. Just say “I don’t think I can help you.” And move on not be all like “Its your fault.” and pretend that none of this arguing is your fault. I compared something to support you just brought out a whole new subject, twice.

ArenaNet just sent me back a support e-mail saying I have possible corrupt files and cannot be read by my RAM and causing significate loading undexterity and causing low frames. A simple reinstall can help reorginize the files and have a better play experience. I find this very logical considering my other games I play that I listed are playing perfectly fine even if I still have a minimum graphics card.

Like I said….

Yeh cause sims 3 and KoA are demanding games like gw2.

And yes whole game reinstall is smart idea.
Smarter is using -repair function. But well who cares.
