Mouse stops working while in game - Why?
Atleast you can easily fix it by logging in and out. I cant solve my issue with my mouse dropping my fps from 60 to 1 Aka completely freezing my client until i stop moving my mouse. =[
My mouse sporadically drops out for a few seconds and comes back. There is a thread about wireless mouses out there somewhere, but I’m certain you’re not having that issue.
There is a “known” bug that occurs randomly though, where your mouse will still be present, still interacts with the UI, but stops interacting with the environment. It tends to occur right after zoning or using a waypoint, but can really start anytime. The only fix is to restart the client.isthat what you have Lyn?
We had a thread about that some time ago, but nothing came of it. I’ve also posted several in-game reports.
It doesn’t occur as often for me now, but does still once a month or so.
Been having the same issue with my Naga Epic. All of a sudden the mouse drops out (still has power as its wired) but none of the buttons work. Only started to happen to me over the past 2 weeks.

Yes, that sounds familiar. I am using a wired mouse because the wireless seems to lag behind game play a lot. However, my mouse stopped working for me the other day right after I logged into the game. So I closed out the game client and restarted it …mouse worked fine then.
An hour or so later after I had zoned, I was able to interact with an npc but within a few moments mouse stopped working completely. Since I was fighting some of those holo mobs, I just tab targeted to finish the fight with. But could not use any of my ground targeting at all since the mouse stopped.
This is really annoying and usually occurs when you least expect it. Due to this issue, I always double check my mouse interaction before I start anything any more. I hate being in the middle of something and need to use my ground targeting only to have it fail because the mouse turned into a wired lump of electronics in my hand that was useless to in-game activity at that point.

I can get it to happen fairly often jumping waypoints now. Wired mice I have tried are Razer Naga Hex and Logitech G600 with and without their drivers.
I used the GW2-Cursor program too and can clearly interact with the UI elements, just can’t mouse look, turn or select targets. The game play is frustrating and I don’t feel like playing after this gets me killed a few times. They need to fix it.
