So upon launching gw2.exe the initial window shows up and then nothing else happens, can not close it unless with the task manager.

Yes having this issue on my husbands computer. Pre-patch.

I’ve had this issue last night on my computer – post patch – and it was stuck on Downloading 0k/b.

Worked fine this morning.

Husbands computer does not download the patch or go to the next step which is the login screen.

try repairing the game. If it doesn’t help, delete the whole game, defragment your hard drive (unless it’s an SSD) and reinstall the whole thing. See if that would have any magic.

the repair option does nothing, i have tried reinstalling it, and i have an SSD
