Q:
New PC
Hi,I want to buy new PC
How many fps I will have with this components?(also in WvW)Processor: Intel Core i7-4770k
Graphic card: Radeon HD 7970-GIGABYTE R797TO-3GD
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z87X-UD3H
Memory: Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 HyperX X2 Grey SeriesAnd there is next question:
How can I transfer the game to the new PC?Can be it?Can I simply uninstall the game? So,that will be all for now:)
I love people that make it easy :p You’ll likely be able to toss everything to max and maybe even supersampling and still be able to play at 60FPS at 1080p. Without supersampling, you’ll for sure be able to do 60FPS at 1080p.
In WvW and large dynamic events, things change from being GPU intense to CPU intense. With the processor you have chosen, you’ll likely see 22-27 FPS in places populated with many active people. If you overclock the 4770K to 4.5Ghz, you will see 26-31 FPS likely.

Super sampling doesn’t make a difference in FPS in my experience. But as for the new computer, you should be able to like, copy and paste the game directory over. I have a feeling it can work. If not, just install. As for what you can expect graphics wise, max it ALL. lol60FPS all the time with v-sync on. You’ll get wicked performance and playable performance in zerg vs zerg
Yes, just copy the folder where you installed it on your old pc. Dump it in a new location on your new pc. Create a shortcut to the gw2.exe file on your desktop.
That is how I play on my portable external drive on a different system.

It depends on the graphics card in question. I don’t have much experience with anything beyond the performance of a GTX 570. My graphics card’s usage jumps from upper 80s to 100% when I turn super sampling on from native. With higher end graphics cards you’re likely using like 60% on native and jumping to 85% on super sampling which won’t show you any performance degradation due to the fact you’ve still got some card left to use where I am maxing myself out. (numbers were pulled out of my kitten, besides the 80s and 100% since I can actually see those on my card)
