Guild Wars 2

Starting today,
both me and my roomate have been getting repeat random disconnects
seperate pc’s.

Internet works fine can browse other sites etc.,
normally have no issues in game at all.

I just had a disconnect spree for about half an hour. In fact, during this period, I was unable to access any GW2 site, including this forum. My connection however was up and stable the entire time, able to connect to any other webpage. This seems to have stopped now, hence why I can post. Will keep updating.

been getting DCs every few mins for 20 mins now, everything else running fine

No, I’m in Europe. The problem persists. I just managed to reconnect right now, but not sure for how long.

getting this too, random disconnects was unable to connect to the site for a while. Managed to connect to site atm, game client still not working, last few connects have only lasted a few min before I got dc’d again

Yes on this end. Same issue. Error 7, my old enemy has returned after over a month of smooth sailing.

Getting the same problem here :/ been getting disconnected a lot the past 2 hours but its been happening half of the day now. I’m in Europe.
Also Spade I’m getting the same issue. The game disconnects me then I can’t even load up the guild wars website or forums :S. It comes back and goes randomly, both always together.
Connection is stable, websites are working fine and even have a skype call going to make sure the connection is up constantly.

I’ve been getting random disconnects along with crippling lag spikes since friday afternoon. Not a single problem from release until then. I’m on Seafarer’s Rest, playing from Aberdeen, North East Scotland UK. Quite a few other people reporting similar problems.

Yup same here, I am playing on an NA server from the UK. Random disconnects for the last hour, been fine all weekend until now. Also had issues getting on the GW2 forum. I was also losing access to some other US based sites such as guru so it might be an issue between EU and US.

Ok, so now at least I know that this is a server problem instead of being related to my computer. I already got disconnected three times in a row and given up playing today…

I play for a bit, everything seems fine, and then all my skills begin to lag and I get the game client can’t connect to the server message and then my screen turns white and I get another message with a different error code.

These are the error codes I got the last time it happened = 7:11:3:189:101 and 58:11:5:504:101

having the same issue. i know it is not my connection. today is the worst its ever been disconnecting, they really need to fix this issue asap

Same issue here. Ottawa area. Getting huge disconnect issues. Cant even login now… Everything starts to lockup. Even the forums take a long time to load… Took me 10 minutes to get here…

Been getting this all afternoon/night, from Toronto.

at toronto having major d/c’s and more so from not being able to even get in the character select screen…

Same. Also Ottawa. Tried 2 different ISPs. Vent, Mumble, Browser, etc. fine.

Yes, eastern Ontario for me
been getting frequent disconnects for the last 3 hours approximately
speedtest.net says my ping rate is good

Same. See other thread. Also in Ottawa with Rogers as ISP. Sounds like a routing issue in Eastern Ontario.

Yeah I too am from South Western Ontario. Getting a TON of random disconnects.
Was able to browse other websites. just not this one or able to re-log in for about 4 – 5 minutes or so each time… So far in an hour or 1.5 of trying to play I’ve been disconnected min of 6 times.
Error code 7:11:3:189:101 as well. (another person had same one).

Me and the girlfriend live in Ottawa and are both having the same problem.

Same issue. Have given up.

Guess I’m not alone then. Rogers here, Ottawa.

Rogers also, highest speed package they offer…
had to give up playing most of the day

The problem seems to have stabilized for me this morning ..
was on 2am- 4:30 with no problems… will see what its like later

Constant Disconnects

Getting the same here over in europe (UK based). Started last night (around midnight) BST – when I was in WvW.

Had 3 disconnects over a period of 10 minutes – then was totally unable to re-access the game (or these forums).

Happened again today @ 16:00 BST (in WvW again) 3 disconnects in quick succession then unable to get back into game. Generic ‘connection error- retrying’ message reported by the client.

This is really starting to irk me. I can’t play pvp for any more than 3 rounds, cant quest for more than 20 minutes…
