Guild Wars 2

A friend had this happen to him earlier tonight which caused him to simply go to bed and not try to play anymore.

Now, after tonight’s new build, I am getting the same thing. For the 9+minutes since i updated, I have had the Bloodtide Coast loading screen going with no end in sight.

Please help

Yea, same problem here with Metrica Province. I dont think its an issue on our side cuz my buddy is stuck there too.

Same here. Stuck on loading screen on all characters no matter where they are located. It happened after tonight’s update.

I have the same problem.

same thing just loaded the new build and nothing but a non stop loading screen. Nice new patch.

Same here… looks like they broke something client side in the last update… ahh well, need to sleep anyways.

Seems like its only not loading the character i got logged out of when the new build went through… I can log on my thief though..

I’m having the same issue with one of my characters in Cursed Shore and another that’s in the Grove. Was hoping to get a chance to do my last skill challenge before it bugs again

Everyone, is this the last character you were playing when the server went down?

I was playing a mesmer in Metrica Province when servers went down, now I can no longer log into them… constant loading. But my Warrior is also at Metrica Province, however, I can log in on him.

UPDATE: I’m able to log into him now. Must have been just a temporary thing.

Well I guess 1 out of the past 2 hours I have been trying to play that I actually got to. Come on Anet

same thing, i tried switch to another character witch then promptly loaded and then went back and tried the one i was originally playing and still eternal loading screen

edit: as i wrote this post it loaded

yeah, i just get the load screen, too. I can’t create a new character either. I just get a black screen.

I’m also stuck loading non stop in Iron Marches.

Yup, I came here to say that. I tried a different character and it loaded fine, only the one I played last before the patch is stuck.

Same, can’t load my char that’s in Metrica Province : / I can load my other char in Lion’s Arch though…

UPDATE: I got in to Brisban Wildlands finally. Fixed?

Don’t know but I’m in WOOHOO!

Well, I left it loading while I alt-tabbed to browse the forums, and it eventually went through!

Not for me

Give it another shot. Was having the same problem on all my characters, but now it seems to be working again. Still seems a little slow to load, but it gets there.

There we go….I am in now….woot.

It is now working for me, awesome!
