Orange Ring of Death with Trading Post.
I have had the same problem since the bwe’s… no access to the gem store or any of the other tabs. I want to buy some gems or at least get that complimentary baseball cap

“Whenever I press “O” the tab opens but the gem store, currency exchange, and any other tab that I try simply shows the circular loading prompt forever. I know that the trading post has been down, but my friends have been able to access a maintenance screen that I have never seen.
I also had this problem during the BWE’s and stress tests, and I was wondering if perhaps there were some client side settings I needed to change in order for it to work. I have tried fiddling with all my browser settings and turning off my antivirus but without any results.
I’m hoping to be able to purchase additional character slots this weekend and to eventually be able to access the trading post with everyone else."

Yep same thing happening here. There seems to be quite a lot of people having the same issue, so far haven’t found any information on how to fix it.
At least im not the only one. But yeah all i get is this circle. I really want to acess the store… i’ve hit a cap on a couple materials in my collection :P
has anybody looked into this at all? would really like a response on this.
I had this problem in the BWE’s. My firewall actually had a popup asking for connection to the Trading Post, which at first I didn’t see – it would just ‘hang’ there loading as you describe because it’s waiting for a response.
If there’s no popup, check your firewall settings. Maybe it was accidentally denied/blocked.
what setting was it?
This issue is still prevalent and my firewalk is not blocking it. Can i PLEASE get a response on this? I want to BUY things from you, but i cannot. Please respond to this and my support ticket.
Do you have anything between your computer and the modem? Switch? Router? Are your ports open? Any dumb anti virus programs? Anything at all that you might have that would block something from connecting, that others likely would not?
I havent dealt with that issue. The only time I havent been able to access the trading post was when it was down for maintenance. So it seems very odd that most people can access this, but you cannot. I highly doubt ArenaNet would block specific people from giving them money, lol. :p But it really seems like there’s probably an issue on your end.
hmm… ill try and talk to someone who may know more about this on my end… But im not sure what it is. My firewall says it allows GW2 and i have windows XP. I have a router, and avast! antivirus and avira antivirus running but neither have anything stopping it. I tried to disable all of them and then log in but still nothing.
Got the same problem, all Tabs on the Trading Company are permanent loading circles.
Having the same problem on my side. Haven’t been able to get it working either. Have put in two tickets now, no response. I’ve got my antivirus allowing anything Guild Wars 2 and my ports are open. Can we get an answer, please ANet????
I doubt they care, and I don’t care anymore either, because I stopped playing.
This game could’ve been the next great MMO, but it lacks so much polish and basic features are missing … companies keep rushing their kitten.
You guys should be ashamed that you let yourself get dictated by overly tight deadlines.
