Guild Wars 2

For some reason I’ve gotten this error few times in the past couple of months and it still puzzels me as to why.

Window 7 64bit with 8GB of Ram, ssd’s in raid, ati 6870 video card, onboard sound. i7 2600K OC to 4.2GHZ

Same problem here.

I run GW2 with all settings maxed on 3 screen (5ghz 2500k, 8gb 2100mhz ram, GTX680, Win7 64bit, SSD), and I often get ‘out of memory’ crashes, usually in very pc-stressed situations like 100 player WvW fights.

we all know alot of thread like this with the same problem, yet not even one thread got responded by Anet. silly me still checking it everyday

i really dont know a single person that have win 8 and is playing smooth and with high fps the gw2 . maybe there are and i would like to know how they are playing well the game .

a friend of mine bought laptop with win 8 64 bit and i7 on it with moblie nvidia 670 and he has 20 fps in lion’s arch . he tried the compatibility mode as xp sp3 and it didn;t helped .

probably there are major issues with win 8 …. of course it is a os designed for tablets

I’ve played GW2 on 7, 8, and 8.1 Preview, no problems at all. I can assure you any performance issues you have are not because of Windows 8 alone (go check your drivers)…

Yeah it comes down to RNGing for them to help and more RNGing for the one helping you actually tries with an knowledgeable response instead of an troll one. Which why I posted here instead of opening another ticket hoping someone from the player base may offer some help.
